★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parken bei der Feuerwehr, der Steig zum Burg ist gleich gegenüber. Als steil beschildert, ist er aber gar nicht so schwer. Schöner Ausblick zum Ötscher von oben. Bemerkenswerte Ruine.
Parking at the fire brigade, the path to the castle is just opposite. Signposted as steep, however, it is not that difficult. Nice view of the Ötscher from above. Remarkable ruin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Rundwanderung (2 verschiedene Wege möglich) ab der ebenfalls sehenswerten Kirche bis zur Burg in einer halben Stunde. Strecke meist Forstweg. Belohnt wird man durch die "Eroberung" einer großen Anlage, die von einem Verein gepflegt und erhalten wird und einer schönen Aussicht ins Pielachtal und zum Ötscher.
Die Burg Rabenstein war der der Ausgangspunkt zur Besiedelung des oberen Pielachtals und wird 1136 erstmalig erwähnt.
Nice circular hike (2 different paths possible) from the church, which is also worth seeing, to the castle in half an hour. Mostly forest path. You will be rewarded by "conquering" a large complex, which is maintained and maintained by an association, and a beautiful view of the Pielach Valley and the Ötscher.
Rabenstein Castle was the starting point for the settlement of the upper Pielach Valley and is mentioned for the first time in 1136.
