★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die wundervolle Ruine mit ihrer Burgkirche "Johannes der Täufer" ist eines der Wahrzeichen des Pfaffenbergs im Nationalpark Hohe Tauern. Die Ruine liegt am Alpe-Adria-Trail und bildet genauso wie ihr Vorwerk Niederfalkenstein ein herrliches Fotomotiv. Leider ist das Betreten der Ruine durch den Besitzer STRENG UNTERSAGT. Es ist lediglich das Zelebrieren der Johannesmesse im Juni sowie des Kirchtages ( jeden zweiten Sonntag im Oktober) erlaubt. Der Kirchtag wird umso ausgibieger gefeiert und ist das gesellschaftliche Highlight am Pfaffenberg.
 The wonderful ruin with its castle church "John the Baptist" is one of the landmarks of the Pfaffenberg in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The ruin is located on the Alpe-Adria-Trail and forms just like her Vorwerk Niederfalkenstein a wonderful photo opportunity. Unfortunately, entering the ruin by the owner is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. It is only the celebration of the St. John's Mass in June and the church (every second Sunday in October) allowed. The church day is celebrated all the more and is the social highlight at the Pfaffenberg.
