★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Schloss in Böckstein wurde zwischen 1882 und 1884 als Jagdschloss des Grafen Rudolf von Czernin erbaut und dient heute als Sommer- und Feriensitz seiner Besitzer. Der erste Schlossbau ist am 15. August 1902 einem Brand zum Opfer gefallen und wurde in den Jahren von 1902 bis 1903 nach Plänen von Josef Wessicken, einem Schüler des Ringstraßenarchitekten Friedrich von Schmidt, und dem Baumeister Angelo Comini wiedererrichtet.
 The castle in Böckstein was built between 1882 and 1884 as the hunting lodge of Count Rudolf von Czernin and is now used as the summer and holiday residence of its owners. The first palace building fell victim to a fire on August 15, 1902 and was rebuilt between 1902 and 1903 according to plans by Josef Wessicken, a student of the Ringstrasse architect Friedrich von Schmidt, and the builder Angelo Comini.
