The cars are generally cheaper than some of the other companies but you get what you pay for. I have had good quality and reliable vehicles over many years using these companies.

Instead of Ford focus combi I got Dacia Logan (with slovak licence plate) which is absolut crab. I do not recommend this car rental.
T	Tara Williamson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a poor experience. We paid AUD$172 to hire a car for two days from Salzburg airport. We had booked the car from 8am however were running late and arrived at 11.30am to pick up the car. On arrival we advised that our car was no longer available and there were no other cars in our selected class available but we could upgrade to the next class for an additional AUD$85. When asked how our car could have been given away when we had already paid? We were advised that this is included in the standard terms and conditions and hire of the car could not be guaranteed if delayed. We then asked for a refund and was advised that the terms and conditions state that if you cancel your booking after the allocated start time no refund will be provided. We then requested to have the additional $85 charge waived which was declined, we requested that this fee be reduced given that we were now technically hiring the car for 1.25 days, this request was also declined. In the end we paid the additional $85 as we had no other choice. We were offered a free Navman to assist with the inconvenience but then was advised that all Navman was unavailable. Terrible customer service, i don't understand how a company could give away a car that we had prepaid for and not offer any refund or appropriate compensation. Will definitely never use this company again.
J	Jyrki Vanamo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picking up the car took almost an hour due to long queue and weakly staffed counter. They demanded additional 50€ fee for crossing the border to another EU country Slovenia, which feels like just another excuse to charge more. The car was ok though.

Buchbinder have a lovely range of Audi cars at Salzburg Airport and the hire rate was exceptionally competitive. I had read a lot of negative reviews prior to booking, but the team at Salzburg Airport were superb. Will not hesitate to use again.
