A	Adam March on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk from Rateče to Tromeja/Dreiländereck, beautiful views and a famous three borders meeting point.
V	Vanja Zvonar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tromeja / Dreilandereck / Il Triplice Confine is the summit of a rather small mountain Peč / Ofen / Monte Forno in Karawanks range, reaching 1508 m.a.s.l. It is the place where the borders of three countries meet: Slovenia, Austria and Italy, thus giving the name "Triple Border". Actually it is more than just countries - it's the meeting point of three different European ethnic, cultural and language groups - Slavic, Germanic and Roman. The summit is an open ridge with ski-pistes on Austrian slopes and a great panorama of Gailtal, Villach, Villacher Alpe, Gerlitzen Alpe etc. Views of Italy and Slovenia are partly closed by forest but most of Julian Alps can be seen. There are few memorials and monuments that mark the place and an educational trail down the ridge to the east. Really a unique place that has to be visited.

Quite a lot of people use this route and there was a lot of litter from lazy people who should know better. But it's special because it's where the 3 countries and 3 styles of language meet. A translation of the monument is included in English.
T	Three From Leith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth the hike (or cycle) up just to walk round through three countries in seconds! Great views of Austria, Italy & Slovenia on a clear day, and they've recently installed new bench seating at the top so that there are more places to rest your weary legs & body. You can take a wee wander downhill a short way to a cafe at the top of the chairlift up from Austria if you fancy a refreshment before you head back home - otherwise there's not really a lot more to do here other than take in the views.

K	Kris Tashev on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hiking place and also skiing place. You cam reach by walking or you can drive also big part of the way up. Still walking is better and there is a steeper path or you can follow the road. Make sure to carry water and food and do not forget that you have to bring back your trash.
