★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Merkur is never a bad choice when it comes down to grocery shopping. They have fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of local product, fresh pastry. The goods vary from food to drug supplies to Tchibo corner and small misc items like kitchen or household appliances. The spaces are big and clean and the stuff is nice and helpful. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Merkur Supermarkets I ever visited. The variety of offered products in amazing, you can literally find anything in there! If you like bio products, this shop has a lot to offer - from fruits and vegetables to meat, eggs, juices, etc. The shop is usually overcrowded in the weekend, but it's worth a visit!

The location of this supermarket is ideal if you are in Vienna, since it is located in the eldest square or the city and it has almost everything you would look for. Great fruit options, fresh smoothies as well and great wine variations. I like coming here for a snack

Always fresh and never had an issue with their products.
Bit more pricey than other markets - oh, but the self-checkout almost made me leave all my groceries behind and leave with empty hands....
