Too crowded. Stocking shelves during peek shopping hours is not conducive for the rushed shoppers.

This Billa is great because it's open until 22:00 every day of the year. Christmas, new year's, doesn't matter. It's always open. Downside of that is that it's super crowded during times the others are closed. Especially with alcoholics etc.

Store pretty well-stocked and affordable. International products are not missing and the beer district is quite diversified. Generally it is free but it is one of the only shops in the area open until 22:00 to close many customers, which generates agglomeration and waiting time in the cash register area. Good location where you can buy chocolate for friends at good prices.

So. Google keeps asking me to review Billa. I guess I go here more often than I think. This one is in a train station so you can visit here on Sundays and holidays usually even in Corona times. The thing that stands out for me is that there's a lot of drunks and beggars who hang out around here. I'm always prepared to hand out some food, very rarely money but there's a young punk dude who often frequents this place. He's very charming and honest so if you see him, chuck him a Bob or two. :-)

*sigh*... It's a Billa, open late and on Sundays. As one would expect, it's often overcrowded and the Kassa wait times can be quite long. Other than that, it's a good Billa. Minus one star for the fact that I was once accused of shoplifting here, because I put my groceries in my bag (I didn't have a shopping bag with me) whilst shopping.

Billa is alright but steaks are better at gofer and spar. Still find it less intuitive than the other 2.

This is one of the very few markets open 18/7 in Vienna. Others can be found at airport and train stations. It's especially busy after hours and on Sundays and holidays, with waits to get in, and waits at checkout. It usually pays to use the self-service checkout, as there are only four cashier lines, but a dozen automatic tellers. Masks are obviously a must, but social distancing is a real problem. As to the goods, it is a typical outlet of this premium chain with good quality, but hefty prices — though they don't get heftier after hours.

Pretty descent supermarket to buy something quickly. Maybe it's not the best option if you cook a lot and picky about your ingredients but there are many options with the food you just need to heat up, there is some selection of veggies and meat and you can top it up with reasonably priced wine
