M	Manuel Danzinger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gutes Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Der Saibling war zwar hervorragend, jedoch für 24,50 Euro leider auch etwas teuer. Good food and very friendly staff. The char was excellent, but for 24.50 euros unfortunately a bit expensive.

Dann hat uns auch noch die Chefin ein Taxi organisiert - was zu Silvester nicht so einfach ist! Wir waren begeistert vom Restaurant Berndl und werden bald wieder dort einkehren!! Fam. Eitzinger und Fam. Huemer We were there for New Year's Eve and we ate and drank excellent! The service was also great - very friendly! The ambience just to feel good! Then the boss organized a taxi for us - which is not so easy on New Year's Eve! We loved the Berndl restaurant and will be back soon !! Fam. Eitzinger and Fam. Huemer

Von Anfang an war der Kellner den ich hier besonders hervorheben möchte zuvorkommend und hilfreich, meiner Großmutter welche an Altersdiabetes leidet wurde auch eine kleine Portion gemacht das und das ausgezeichnete Essen lässt mir nichts anderes übrig als dem Restaurant Berndl 5 Sterne zu geben, die Portionen haben eine ordentliche Größe, die Qualität stimmt und Preis Leistung ist auch top! Do not be put off by isolated bad reviews, I can not share the previous reviews, we arrived with 7 people, so my family, the family of my soon to be wife! From the beginning the waiter I would like to emphasize was courteous and helpful, my grandmother who has diabetes was also given a small portion and the excellent food leaves me with nothing else than to give the Berndl restaurant 5 stars that have portions a decent size, the quality is right and price performance is great too!

Dazu noch im Hintergrund leise, steirisch- volkstümliche Musik- einfach perfekt. Essen war auch gut. Original Styrian inn in terms of furnishings, just as it used to be, that's how it seemed to me. Just comfortable, I like that. In addition, quiet, Styrian folk music in the background - just perfect. Food was good too.

Die Portionen sind nicht übergroß, ich hatte noch Platz für eine Nachspeise - gebackene Apfelspalten ... findet man auch eher selten in einer Speisekarte ? Cozy inn with rustic background music, good menu with lots of fish dishes, super friendly staff !! ? The food came very quickly and was really tasty. The portions are not overly large, I still had space for a dessert - baked apple wedges ... are also rarely found on a menu ?

Herzlich und familiär geführt, charmanter Service - ich bin dankbar an diesem Ort gewesen zu sein. Char, Altaussee and centuries of improved preparation at Berndl belong together. Warm and family-run, charming service - I'm grateful to have been in this place.

The price was quite a bit higher than normal in Austria but I think that's normal for such a touristy place. If you order a small dish, the restaurant will deduct only €1.50 from the price of the meal so you might as well get the regular size and share it. All in all it was a pleasant experience in an authentic "rustic" style Austrian restaurant. The place was clean, the service was friendly and the food was yummy. If staying in Altaussee and if you don't mind paying a little more I would recommend this place. We spend approx €55 for two fish dishes, a beer, a water and a salad.
