★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long walk from my hotel, I was a bit discouraged as I didn't see anyone else walking towards the Katrin lifts. As soon as the lift took off from the station I was blown away by the views. At the top I had a nice lunch and walked around the paths a bit, though I did not venture as far as others. The standard view is breathtaking, but I'm sure there is even greater rewards for those that are willing to hike.
