It was not that cosy but better then the place next to it. The food is quite expensive and they dont have many options on food.
We were there on a sunday from 14.30 to 15.30 and it was not full at all. I recommend that time
And by the way: the kaiserschmarn is just okay. Comes with a little bit apfelmus and no raisins

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food here was wonderful, complimented by fact we were up so high in altitude. Definitely recommend the Pilzgauer Kasnock'n (Beer cheese with dumplings) as an Austrian local dish. Their tagliatelle in mushroom sauce was subtle but still pleasant.
The restaurant provides each table with their own heater which was helpful since it was cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fantastic traditional Austrian restaurant! Sublime food, great service - definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Make sure to try the 16h cooked ribs. Don’t miss this place when you are in Kaprun/ Zell am See.
