★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In summer it is pleasantly quiet and relaxed. In winter they are running around to serve everyone in time. And they succeed nearly always. We eat here regularly during winter holidays around Xmas and with the spring holidays. In summer every other year or so. Worth to come all the way up to duxeralm the afternoon for a walk and a drink on the terras. Meals are nice, salads good and fresh. For vegetarians limited options, but they can create something along the lines of fries with salad or an oven cooked potato with grilled veggies. For vegans it's going to be hard to find something on the menu. Beers are local and good. Service excellent and always friendly. No matter how busy or how long ago I came around, they remember your name, take time for a talk and a friendly word. In winter there is local live music and the homeland evenings are well worth it. Always reserve a table in winter, because it can be very crowded.
