J	Júlia Miño on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful and tasty typical viennese restaurant but with a really rude service. For €18,9 you can get a menu with soup, schnitzel and a dessert. We also ordered vanillerostbraten (beef meat in a garlic sauce, really nice) and for dessert powildtascher (kind of sweet potatoe dumplings filled with ham, highly recommended). Everything was nice, except the waitress... So rude and unfriendly...
R	Roger Ogden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stumbled upon this traditionally-styled restaurant late in the evening. We may have been the only guests there at the time. The food and service were excellent. We were able to order half portions of traditional dishes, which were perfect for late dining. We resisted dessert but relented and found the server-recommended Marillenknödel to be the best we've had: light, tasty, non-gooey, perfectly-prepared and presented, traditional apricot meal-in-itself. The waiter was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and warm without being overly friendly: the antithesis of the oft-encountered, quasi-sullen Viennese server.

The menu was excellent and had all the dishes we were looking for, the feel of the restaurant and the service was fantastic. Very happy with the portion size and would recommend anyone to go there while staying in Vienna
D	David Reyes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately I never got to try the food due to the ignorant manager not approving my Johnson and Johnson (one jab wonder) as proof I was cleared to dine at the restaurant all because his colleague (restaurant staff not government official covid guideline advisor) said it should be 2 jabs. He kept saying different regions different rules as a make shift terrible excuse to my point that Austria’s customs had cleared me for entry into a country, which is on lock down for the unvaccinated, as approved by their own country wide government. Best he could do then was say ‘no’ as I asked him to check. Ignorance is bliss!!!

I’m also waiting for my Gulasch over 30 minutes. Especially,the waiter gave me a broken cash (below picture),I can’t use it for anywhere…. I can’t recommend this service quality…. Reply for the owner: Can’t feel any apology from you. The Gulasch is my personal taste. (It’s just taste recommend ,but if waiter asking me everything okay,is it mean you want to improve it?) I don’t think the banknote with a hole is Available…you made inconvenience for me,isn’t it? For the service way,you can ask first (hospitality management),until I feel so starving and I knew the waiter need to take back my soup,and then I request my main meal “The waiter going to serve my meal impatient.” improving and be humble.
