★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful hotel like they say, right on the lake, with beautiful views all around.
We were greeted by the owner how was very nice and talked to us for a long time and made us very welcome. The place is very modern and absolutely spotlessly clean, not a spot of dust anywhere.
I previously travelled half the worrld in my job, this hotel keeps up with the finest in all ragards.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give these guys zero stars I would. At first I have put the review about the rigidity etc. But now it escalated to being outright crooks! Here is the thing. I asked them to reschedule my booking a few months due to my inability to travel due to COVID. Now, Peter demanded i cancelled my reservation on booking.com, then he demanded more money and refused to further communicate unless I would give him more. AVOID THIS PLACE!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. We stay the weekend there and the view is really nice a lot of things to do, the sun came out :D
They even let us stay most of the afternoon after the check out. Cool people.
The place have 90s style that bring back good memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly couldn't have been better, breakfast was delicious and the mini appartments contained 2 rooms which was really great. The hotel also provides you with free attractions like a pedalo, 2 paddles, a surfboard and many kanoes. It also has a trampoline on water and an iceberg you can climb on asswell on the water. The only problem was the weather but the hotel cannot do anything about it. Great Sauna and indoor swimming pool too. :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are comfortable. The reception was exceptional. Receptionist well informed and ensured you are too. The view was amazing. One complaint though. The kitchen was mot serviced - dishes not washed and still in the dishwasher and no refreshments (coffee, milk, sugar). Will test the breakfast later but from the setup observed, will be continental and refreshing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have not been to the Barry Memle ( my family calls it fondly the Barry Manilow ?) in many years now. The hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful places in the lake. I was there in the end of the summer season, most tourist were gone. It was just wonderful, fall colors all around, from sauna to cold lake and the smell of firewood. I got an apartment perfect for families that may need to cook for the little ones. The staff was marvelous, because we had to leave so early they let out some croissants and the coffeemaker on for us.
I can't wait to go back. True Austrian hospitality ?
