★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super Gegend zum wandern, klettern und Natur genießen. Bei einem Besuch am Peilstein sollte man hier unbedingt vorbei schauen! Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten um auf die Ruine zu kommen und dort herumzulaufen und etwas zu entdecken.
 Great area for hiking, climbing and enjoying nature. When visiting the Peilstein you should definitely look over here! There are many ways to get to the ruins and walk around and discover something.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Burgruine Arnstein ist eine Ruine einer Höhenburg auf einem Ausläufer des Peilsteins in Maria Raisenmarkt. Erhalten sind Mauerreste eines Rundturmes, eines Burgtores und des Palas.
Von der Ruine Arnstein ist nicht mehr viel übrig geblieben, es ist eher eine Ansammlung von Steinen, mit einer wirklich wunderschöne Aussicht auf die umliegenden Wälder und Täler. Es gibt viele gut beschilderte Wanderwege rund um die Burg.
Immer einen Ausflug zu jeder Jahreszeit wert.
The castle ruin Arnstein is a ruin of a hilltop castle on one of the foothills of the Peilstein in Maria Raisenmarkt. Remains of the wall of a round tower, a castle gate and the palace have been preserved.
Not much is left of the Arnstein ruins, it is more of a collection of stones with a really beautiful view of the surrounding forests and valleys. There are many well-marked hiking trails around the castle.
Always worth a trip in every season.

Castle ruin is located on Peilstein. I left Maria Reisenmarkt. Distance about 25 minutes. Beautiful relaxing landscape. Anyone who wants to pick wild garlic can do it in abundance!
