★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unsere 4. Etappe zur Ansbacher Hütte war schon nicht ohne. Die angegebene Gehzeit haben wir mit 7 h weit überschritten - zwar sind wir bergerfahren, aber eben doch Flachländer aus HH.
Die Hütte ist gut, das Essen hat geschmeckt, der Obstler war arg strong.
 Our 4th stage to the Ansbacher hut was not without it. We exceeded the specified walking time by 7 hours - although we drove uphill, we were flatlands from HH.
The hut is good, the food was tasty, the fruit schnapps was very strong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Für mich die beste Hütte in der Region. Obwohl ich versehentlich für den nächsten Tag gebucht hatte, bekamen wir ein schönes Vierbettzimmer und wurden freundlich aufgenommen. Man merkt, das Markus und seine Familie mit Leib und Seele Hüttenwirte sind und die Leute nicht nur abzocken. Wo Herzlichkeit und Humor zuhause sind, da fühlt man sich auch wohl. Gerne wieder!
For me the best hut in the region. Although I accidentally booked for the next day, we got a nice four-bed room and were warmly welcomed. You can tell that Markus and his family are hut owners with heart and soul and not just rip people off. Where warmth and humor are at home, you also feel good. Gladly again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drei Generationen sorgen auf der Ansbacher Hütte für eine ausgezeichnete und herzliche Bewirtung. Man merkt schnell wie eingespielt das Team ist und wie gut organisiert die Abläufe.
Und zu den negativen Stimmen hier in den Bewertungen: Der Seniorwirt hat wohl schon zu viele Wanderer kommen und gehen sehen, um bei Fehlverhalten noch eine gute Mine zu wahren. Eine Alpenhütte ist kein 3-Sterne-Hotel und wer sich nicht an die Regeln halten kann oder will, muss mit einem rauen Umgangston klarkommen.
Wir werden auf jeden Fall auch ein drittes Mal gerne wieder kommen.
Three generations provide excellent and warm hospitality at the Ansbacher Hütte. You quickly notice how well-coordinated the team is and how well organized the processes are.
And about the negative voices here in the reviews: The senior landlord has probably seen too many hikers come and go to keep a good mine in the event of misconduct. An alpine hut is not a 3-star hotel and anyone who cannot or does not want to stick to the rules has to deal with a rough tone.
We will definitely come back a third time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk to Ansbacher is very beautiful and the hut itself is also very nice. What I did think was odd was the service at the hut. I cant put my finger on why you had the feeling that you were only somewhat welcome. Especially from the senior boss there. At one point as I mistakenly entered the hut on the wrong side he said 'no' to me 10 times To be honest I wouldn't treat my dog that way. Or breakfast as they took the buns away after everyone had one. Aside from that the food was fine, the view is stunning. We asked for a blanket but was charged 10 Euro each, but maybe its correct since I guess they send them down to be washed.
