C	Corinna R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eigentlich schreibe ich eher selten eine Bewertung aber diese Hütte hat es verdient. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen leider gar nicht nachvollziehen. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Alles war top organisiert. Das Essen war extrem gut und wir haben überhaupt nicht lange gewartet. Am Abend musste man schon das Frühstück bestellen und alles bezahlen, sodass in der Früh keine Wartezeiten entstehen und jeder gleich aufbrechen kann. Und ich finde es völlig ok fürs duschen und Trinkwasser extra zu zahlen. Das Wasser fürs duschen wird mit Holz warm gemacht und wenn man sich vorstellt, dass an einem schönen Wochenende jeder Gast mindestens 1 Liter Wasser will (bei 45 Gästen) ist das einfach zu viel. Abgesehen davon, dass duschen am Berg so und so überbewertet wird. Actually, I rarely write a review but this hut deserves it. Unfortunately, I cannot understand the negative reviews. We felt very comfortable. Everything was well organized. The food was extremely good and we didn't wait long at all. In the evening you had to order breakfast and pay for everything so that there were no waiting times in the morning and everyone could leave immediately. And I think it's totally ok to pay extra for showering and drinking water. The water for showering is warmed up with wood and if you imagine that on a nice weekend every guest wants at least 1 liter of water (with 45 guests) that is simply too much. Apart from the fact that showering on the mountain is overrated one way or another.

Speisen sind gut und der Preis passt auch, dennoch ist zu empfehlen genug Bargeld mitzunehmen da die Atmosphäre und Stimmung in der Hütte zu übermäßigem Konsum anregt. Wenn man nett fragt kann die Sperrstunde ausgeweitet werden. Zu empfehlen ist rechtzeitig zu fragen in welchem Zimmer man eingeteilt ist. Bei uns ist kurzzeitig der Wirt verschwunden und wir wussten nicht wo wir hinmussten, doch zum Glück kam der Wirt rechtzeitig wieder. Tipp von meinem Wanderkollegen: Stirnlampe beim nächtlichen Einsatz auf die Toilette mitnehmen, der Zeitschalter ist sehr kurz bemessen Esoterik Treffpunkt Cozy and rustic alpine hut. The food is good and the price is right, but it is still advisable to bring enough cash with you as the atmosphere and mood in the hut encourage excessive consumption. If you ask nicely, the curfew can be extended. It is recommended to ask in good time which room you are assigned to. With us the host disappeared for a short time and we didn't know where we had to go, but luckily the host came back in time. Tip from my hiking colleague: Take a headlamp with you when you go to the toilet at night, the timer is very short Esoteric meeting point
D	Dominik Eder on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Habe im Februar mit Freunden meinen 40igsten Geburtstag auf der Ybbstaler Hütte gefeiert und hätt es mir besser nicht vorstellen können! Wir sind am Nachmittag zu elft vom Steinbachtal mit den Skiern zur Hütte aufgestiegen. Bei der Ankunft gab's gleich mal ein Willkommens Bier welches aufs Haus ging. Anschließend sehr gutes Abendessen, Bier und ausreichend Schnäpse. Da wir die einzigen Gäste auf der Hütte waren, wurde es mit der Sperrstunde Gott sei Dank auch nicht so genau genommen. Die Übernachtung in den rustikal gemütlichen Zimmern war sehr angenehm, zwar etwas kalt aber mit den vorhandenen Decken gut machbar. Am nächsten Morgen gab's ausgezeichnetes Frühstück bevor wir dann mit den Skiern zum nahegelegenen Noten Gipfel aufstiegen und bei herrlichstem Wetter und feinsten Pulver wieder ins Tal abfuhren. Kann die Ybbstaler Hütte nur weiterempfehlen, alles Bestens! I celebrated my 40th birthday with friends at the Ybbstaler Hütte in February and couldn't have imagined it better! In the afternoon, eleven of us climbed up from the Steinbachtal on skis to the hut. Upon arrival there was a welcome beer which was on the house. Afterwards a very good dinner, beer and plenty of schnapps. Since we were the only guests in the hut, the curfew was not taken too seriously, thank God. The overnight stay in the rustic, cozy rooms was very pleasant, a bit cold but easily manageable with the existing blankets. The next morning we had an excellent breakfast before we skied up to the nearby Noten summit and skied back down to the valley in glorious weather and the finest powder. I can only recommend the Ybbstaler Hütte, all the best!

Ich war aufgrund der Bewertungen etwas skeptisch ob wir hier übernachten sollen, was sich aber als unbegründet erwiesen hat. Alle vom Personal waren freundlich und bemüht. Essen sehr gut. Preise auch ok - ist eben eine Hütte. But late: were there in June and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Based on the reviews, I was a bit skeptical whether we should stay here, but that turned out to be unfounded. All of the staff were friendly and tried hard. Food very good. Prices ok too - it's just a hut.

The Austrians on the next table were staring at us the whole night and talking about us in their dialect, behind our backs. The place had a generally xenophobic atmosphere.
