★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice new mountain hut. Friendly staff, awasome meals (most of em healthy and even some veg). Better make reservation, despite we were there in autumn it was full. But they let us sleep on the floor (it was nice storm outside). No showers, water from the spring.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, friendly staff, quite a hike. However, please be aware that the hut is quite expensive (deliveries by helicopter) and consider to bring more food and water along.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Certainly this Hütte is located in a very beautiful place and about 100m from the highest point in Hochschwab Gruppe.
It is a modern Hütte with a bit of hippie influence to menu and presentation. Food looks delicious and number of vegan options also on the menu, which is not very common in traditional Austrian Hütte.
Staff were friendly and attentive. One of them even came to our table to find out about our travels. Table service available.
Hütte also have two rooms for stay in (dogs can stay).
One improvement could be the website and booking services. Website is quite primitive and only one number is available to make enquiries. This number is not active most of the time, when asked they told me it is due to heavy number of calls to book in. Anyhow it would be better to open email booking. This is not 90s :)
Overall experience was good!

Vegan and vegetarian options. Very friendly and laid back people. And very interesting interior! And of course it’s a highlight when the helicopter lands right next to the hut :).
