Their hospitality was not bad so far , the worst things were the bed mattresses , the pillows, the the size of the toilet which (WC room) and the kids facility are chargeable not free . The good things in this hotel view is really amazing

Awesome hotel, excellent facilities...highly recommend the rooftop pool! The views are incredible! Top notch food and super friendly staff. Even though it's a ski resort, there's plenty to do for the non-skiers. Would love to come here again!

Great place to stay with The kids. Just next to The lift to go The skiing areas. Excellent spa area. 3 pools- one of Them is outside pool with the beautifull view.It is so cool to swim in The warm water outside during The winter. Shallow pool for The Small Kids and another pool for the Kids around 5 to and one more where you can swim. There is also sauna and solarium Huge kids zone, full od toys, with daycare. We also made trip to see goats with our Kids. Room is comfortable but a bit old fashioned. We will come back.

It was pretty good - best location -> right at the slope - good spa , gym and swimming pool with nice view - also good tennis court that we used and right connected to hotel - great modern rooms (we had the larger 40m2 room) - service overall friendly (owners seem to check also regularly) -> but at the last night (Sunday) there was a fire alarm at 5am in the morning , so sleepless night not ideal since we (like many others in ski holidays) had to drive back 7h by car to Germany for a room of 450€ per night that makes over 3k for 1 week (you can go to Dubai, New York City and many other places for that and stay in crazy good places) I would have expected at least some kind of excuse gesture at checkout , bottle of wine, discount on last night etc. I even met the owner while packing the car and he commented on it but reception seemed to have been unaware at checkout which is really odd -> never experienced a surprised reaction/ unawareness like this before hm :/

Long story, short: Nice sauna and gym. The hotel is right next to the lift. Outrageously bad dinner, I have no idea why I see so many positive reviews on the food - It was terrible! However, breakfast was nice. Unprofessional staff. All-in-all I'd conclude this place is extremely overpriced. and I'm 100% not coming back, even if I could stay for free. Pros: - Right next to lift - Very nice Finnish sauna - Very nice gym - Breakfast has everything you would want - Convenient with ski rental and storage right next door Cons: - The dinner is terrible (absolutely shocking that a 4-star hotel is serving such bad food - Their restaurant deserves to get a visit from Gordan Ramsay for Kitchen Nightmares). My GF and I are not Michelin chasers, but we have at least some basic standards for the food we consume and most dishes I sent back after one bite. Absolutely horrendous. - The afternoon cakes tasted terrible - I have bought frozen cakes from the supermarket that tasted better. - Staff is very unprofessional and/or unkind (except the one guy working in the reception). At the bbq night, the chef didn't even know half of the meat/sausages served. - The bistro was also terrible, we order a burger and the bun was hard as a rock. My thoughts: If you have kids and don't care about food, but like that everything is sorted and close by then this is the place. There seemed to be plenty of activities for small ones, the ski lift is right next door and the pistes are short and easy for beginners. However, if you care about good food and long pistes then I'd say look elsewhere. My GF and I was shocked how the standard for the food served could be as low as it was. We realized that there are only a few hotels in Alpendorf so once you are checked in you don't really have an option to eat anywhere else unless you have a car and can go down to St. Johann. So they basically cut down on the quality of the ingredients and the quality of the cooking. I have NEVER been this disappointed in the food served - My stomach still turns when I think about it. I will definitely stick to the French alps for the future. To me, the Alpina hotel is the kind of four-star hotel that only tries to check the boxes to label itself as a four-star hotel, but in reality, could easily be a scrappy two-star. Worst four-star hotel experience I have ever had.

thanks for the nice stay! Food was really great also the options between regional dishes and international food options for dinner. We were overwhelmed by the wine card and the good service at the hotel bar - we had a really good time at the hotel besides skiing we enjoyed the spa area as well as the great gym! See you soon

Overall: a very low quality experience. The position is nice and everything on paper seems to tick the right boxes until you get there. The spa area was really nice and so was the location next to the slopes(which were quite disappointing and very short but it is not up to the hotel of course). The breakfast buffet was good and had a great selection. Dinner on the other hand was absolutely horrific. I was shocked at how bad it could be. They definitely want to save money on ingredients quality and portions and whoever put the food together has never gotten a culinary education. Some of the staff was nice and polite but none of them were trained professionals. I have worked in hospitality shortly and I can assure you that they don’t know the basics. We were disappointed to say the least. If you want to put 4 starts next to your name, then offer the quality that 4 stars deserve. I would much rather give up some of the facilities but get good quality and service instead
