★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son and I just spent five days skiing in Monichkirchen and stayed at Alpengasthof Enzian. It was one of the most pleasent stays we have ever had skiing. Our hosts and the personnel were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was excellent, sevice quick and friendly, the room bright, warm and clean. Very good skiing conditions for beginners and intremedite skiers.
I would highly recommend it for families with children of any age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very great food nice staff and great for every occasion. It's next to a ski slope, they have very cuddly and friendly cats which is a definite plus for me and you can go for some nice walks there too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely building, the small cabins are particularly comfortable. The food is remarkably good, and reasonably priced. All in all, a fantastic getaway within a quick drive of Vienna.

Here you can start a round trip through the wonderful forest with around 15 rest stations. Children also will be very happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I very much enjoyed my stay here. I traveled with a group in the off season and everything was absolutely stunning. The hotel owners were very gracious and helpful, the food was delicious, and my room was incredibly comfortable. The spa also made my time here incredibly relaxing. I intend to come back in winter to enjoy the nearby skiing and excellent hospitality offered by hotel Enzian.
