Die Nachbarn hört man in ihren Zimmern auch bei normallauten Gesprächen. Dafür ist die Küche der Lebensraum der Etage, mit netten Nachbarn ist es wirklich gemütlich. The property manager is great. The prices okay. The property was probably out of date by the 1970s. You can hear the neighbors in their rooms even during normal loud conversations. Instead, the kitchen is the living space on the floor; it is really cozy with nice neighbors.
B	Benedikt Kiefer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Großzügiger 70er Jahre Grundriss, der mit einem geräumigen Gemeinschaftsraum auf jedem Stockwerk den sozialen Umgang fördert und die Gemeinschaft innerhalb des Heims stärkt. Im Gegensatz zu aktuellen Wohnheimen, bei denen die Bewohner im Sinne des Kapitalismus eingepfercht werden, lebt das Schönbrunnheim von den Mitbewohnern und der familiären Atmosphäre. Die ausbleibende Modernisierung des Gebäudes ist aufgrund der Unempfindlichkeit der Umgebung meiner Meinung nach ideal für den studentischen Alltag . Außerdem wird den Studenten dadurch ermöglicht, den Gemeinschaftsraum nach ihren Wünschen zu gestalten. Die einzelnen Zimmer sind von ausreichender Größe und sehr minimalistisch gestaltet. Wüschenswerte Modernisierungen: Zeitgemäße digitale Infrastruktur (WLAN Router auf jedem Stockwerk) und neue Sanitäranlagen Generous 70s floor plan that promotes social interaction with a spacious common room on each floor and strengthens the community within the home. In contrast to current dormitories, in which the residents are penned in in the spirit of capitalism, the Schönbrunnheim lives from the roommates and the family atmosphere. The lack of modernization of the building is, in my opinion, ideal for everyday student life due to the insensitivity of the surroundings. In addition, it enables the students to design the common room according to their wishes. The individual rooms are of sufficient size and designed in a very minimalist manner. Genau das brauchen Studentinnen und Studenten am Beginn ihrer Studienzeit. Danke für den netten Start. The home manager explains the advantages of this home very authentically and he also lives them: humanity, helpfulness and sociability. This is exactly what students need at the beginning of their studies. Thanks for the nice start.
M	Monika Morawek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich habe mich hier sofort wohlgefühlt und empfehle das Schönbrunnheim definitiv weiter! Die Einzelzimmer sind geräumig mit viel Stauraum und riesigem Fenster. Die Gemeinschaftsküchen sind ein Highlight, weil man gemütlich zusammensitzen kann und so viele neue Leute kennenlernt. Obwohl ich bei meinem Einzug in Graz überhaupt niemanden kannte, hatte ich innerhalb kürzester Zeit viele gute Freundschaften im Heim. Mit viel Platz und eigenem Bad im Zimmer kann man sich auch problemlos zurückziehen, wenn man lernen muss oder seine Ruhe braucht. Die Leute von der Heimverwaltung sind supernett und bei Hilfe sofort zur Stelle. Wenn irgendwo was kaputtgeht, wird es innerhalb kürzester Zeit gerichtet, und dass sowohl Gemeinschaftsküchen als auch die Bäder von Reinigungskräften geputzt werden, ist für uns Studenten ein willkommener Luxus. Weiters ist die Lage ideal, die Gegend super zum Spazierengehen und trotzdem sind Unis und Zentrum sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit Öffis leicht und schnell zu erreichen. I immediately felt at home here and definitely recommend the Schönbrunnheim to others! The single rooms are spacious with lots of storage space and huge windows. The communal kitchens are a highlight because you can sit together comfortably and meet so many new people. Although I didn't know anyone at all when I moved into Graz, I had many good friendships in the home within a very short time. With plenty of space and your own bathroom in the room, you can easily withdraw if you have to study or if you need some peace and quiet. The people from the home administration are super nice and immediately available to help. If something breaks somewhere, it will be fixed within a very short time, and the fact that both communal kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned by cleaners is a welcome luxury for us students. Furthermore, the location is ideal, the area is great for walking and yet the universities and the city center can be reached quickly and easily both on foot and by public transport.
S	Susanne Irresberger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schaut auf den Fotos noch immer so aus wie 1981 als ich dort eingezogen (und 1985 wieder ausgezogen) bin. Sogar die identische Zimmereinrichtung gibt es noch! Ich war damals gern dort. Die Lage ist schön und nicht weit von der Uni entfernt. Foto von damals hab ich leider keines mehr. It still looks like it did in 1981 when I moved in there (and moved out again in 1985). Even the identical room furnishings are still there! I loved being there back then. The location is nice and not far from the university. Unfortunately I don't have any photos from back then.
A	Ariane Petri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meine Wahl einer studentischen Unterkunft in Graz fiel auf das Schönbrunnheim, weil es zugleich zentrumsnah und dennoch im Grünen liegt. Ich wurde auch als deutlich ältere Doktorandin von allen sehr freundlich aufgenommen und fühlte mich in den sechs Monaten, die ich in Graz verbrachte, außerordentlich wohl. Die Heimleitung und Hausmeister sind sehr nett und um das Wohlbefinden aller besorgt. Wer es lieber etwas ruhiger mag, sollte schauen, ein Zimmer zu bekommen, das die Tür zum Gang hat und nicht zum Gemeinschaftsraum. Diese Türen sind besser isoliert. Für mich war wichtig, dass es Musikräume un in der Kapelle ein Klavier gibt. Kurzum: ja, ein älteres Haus, aber eine sehr, sehr nette Gemeinschaft! My choice of student accommodation in Graz fell on the Schönbrunnheim because it is close to the center and yet in the countryside. Even as a much older doctoral student, I was welcomed very kindly by everyone and felt extraordinarily well during the six months I spent in Graz. The home management and caretakers are very nice and concerned about the well-being of everyone. If you prefer something quieter, you should try to get a room that has the door to the corridor and not to the common room. These doors are better insulated. It was important for me that there were music rooms and a piano in the chapel. In short: yes, an older house, but a very, very nice community!
