Internationales Studentenheim Johannes-Kepler-Haus in Graz

I really liked living there, the dorm is modern the community is great, it's in a green neighborhood with a good connection with the center :)

Best place to stay for students. Great access to market and public transportation. Also quite near the nature. Relaxing, comfortable and nice managers.

Johannes Kepler Studentheim is simply the best of! I spent there my Erasmus and it was the best experience ever. Mrs. Henriksen and her staff treat every student perfectly. Anything is not a problem. The house is very clean itself, very well equipped and located so conveniently. 10 mins to the city on a bike, 10 mins for a hike! PS: In case I am in Graz again - I will come back one day. :) It is the must!

This dormitory is my second home. As I came to Austria for my studies, Graz and local culture were totally new to me and I felt lonely first weeks. However, Johannes-Kepler-House made my "on boarding" and life in the new country a way easier. Management of the dorm is very caring. They care about social activities as well as cultural activities all over the year. For example: Get-to-know meeting in a beautiful countryside of Styria or Christmas Market right inside of the dorm. Once I've also participated in the dorm's choir which was full of fun and nice people. So from the beginning of my residency I felt welcomed and got a bunch of new friends. Now, in the Covid-19 time, I am thankful again. Dorm's management has adjusted the government's rules to the local circumstances and informed all the students. This is great to know that you can rely on your house and don't be afraid of a total disaster if somebody would be ill. Because the whole logistics around people, who were positive tested is working well. For instance, I was tested positive on Corona (on costs of the dorm) and at the same moment the dorm's management gave me an extra flat in the dorm for my isolation so that nobody of my social environment would be sick because of me. They did shopping for me and were here for when I needed something. Now, I am healthy again and it was good to know that I could rely on them since I couldn't call my friends or use the help of my dorm neighbours during this time. So, I would recommend it to anybody who needs a "second" home in their lives.

A very organised and welcoming place. The single rooms are well equipped and airy, mine had a lovely view. I highly recommend this residence.

Having stayed here for a period of ten and a half weeks, I 100% recommend this place! Its truly an awesome environment and I had some of my best experiences due to this place. It's proximity to the LKH and also Leechwald helped me discover my knack for hiking. Frau Henrikson is very helpful and friendly and made sure myself and the other students felt at ease at all times.. 10/10 would recommend! Hope to be back here!

I can honestly recommend this dormitory. It is located in a quiet place, surrounded by nature. There are so many nice paths around to have a walk and breath fresh air. On the other hand, the city center, university, and hospital (for those who work/study there) are not far and easy to reach. The rooms are clean, there is everything, that is necessary to feel like home, even a music room with the piano for those who play. There is also a very nice terrasse on the roof. And special compliments for the staff - all the ladies are friendly, supportive, and willing to help if there are any problems or needs.

This is possibly the best place you can choose for your stay in Graz. It is near the hospital and the center (10 and 15 minutes by bike) but still remote, you are surrounded by beautiful forests and houses. The apartment is quite and peaceful and the dorm is built in such a way that the occasional parties don't disturb your studying. There are plenty of rooms for socialising and enough opportunities to meet new people from countries all over the world. The warden of the home, Frau Pirkl-Henriksen, is amazing, incredibly organised and always willing to help. She loves students and you can feel it the moment you step through the door of the dorm. In my six years of studies I have stayed in 5 different student dorms in 4 different countries I can without any doubt say that this one was the absolute best. I highly recommend it!
