A quaint little pub in a side street of Vienna. Surprisingly good Austrian-style food, under nice shady trees, this is a good place to kickback and enjoy a relaxed dinner. The prices are very reasonable (especially for this district). The only negative point is the waiting staff, which is rather typically Viennese...

Excellent service! Most European staff have a more relaxed attitude, knowing this, our waiter was helpful, patient, and grateful for compliments. Food is fantastic, ordered Styrian beef with gnocchi! Wife and I are lingering in the outdoor ambiance.

This was the most awesome meal of our two week tour of Eastern Europe. Great service, too. The Cordon Blue was artful and perfectly pan fried..truly delicious! Customer service was stellar. We are not from this country and they were excellent in interpreting our English. Restaurant was clean. Highly recommended; we’ll be back!!!

Was very quiet on a Sunday evening but the welcome was warm. Contrary to other reviews, English menu was available and basic English was spoken. It was also possible to pay by card. Food was tasty and a generous portion for a very good (cheap) price. Beer was very good. If you’re nearby then definitely worth considering rather than going into the centre.

An unexpected delight on our vacation! With rain threatening, we decided to find a restaurant close to our hotel. We found this lovely spot 400m from our lodgings. Traditional Viennese fare, generous portions, well-prepared. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, even bringing out English language menus. Beer and wine list was not extensive but there was no difficulty in finding appropriate pairings. The bill for my family of four (including teenage girls 18 and 16) was 62 euro, with drinks. The rain did come but we were seated under a large umbrella and remained dry and unhurried. I strongly recommend a visit!

To be clear, the food was very good. The schnitzel was well made and the salad had a very nice dressing. Portion size was also good. However, the staff does not even attempt to speak English and they did not provide an English menu. Given this, when I made the my initial order - the Monday lunch menu option (which included an appetizer, schnitzel and dessert), the waitress took it and then came back to inform that the menu was no longer available, they only had the wiener schnitzel from the regular menu, which was more expensive. I took it anyway because I went there to eat schnitzel but the situation felt a bit dodgy and I suspect they took advantage of the fact that I don't speak any German. My advice is only go there if you're with someone who speaks German to avoid this type of situation, otherwise go somewhere else.

Nice quiet place slightly off the main tourist routes. Lemon and Prawn Risotto very nice, as were the freshly cooked crepes with apricot jam. Paid by card no problem. Cheapest tea we've found in Vienna so far - Twinnings English breakfast rather than artisan :o)

Have good wheat beer. Pleasant staff. Don't have menu on english, so I took one thing that I understood, Wiener schnitzel:) It is not expensive place.
