Hütte super, Wirt und Personal super, Gäste super. :) We went up on 07/21/2020 and ... well, see for yourself. It worked out great for us. Hut great, host and staff great, guests great. :)

Tipp: wer übernachtet hat am Abend u.U. die Chance auf eine Führung in der Wetterstation, die im selben Gebäude untergebracht ist. nice, modern hut. Unbeatable views of over 3,000m. Tip: those who have stayed in the evening may the chance of a tour in the weather station, which is housed in the same building.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind von Andi super bewirtet worden! Wir waren vom Service, dem Essen, der Sauberkeit und der Gastfreundschaft alle sehr begeistert. Man merkt, dass das Zittelhaus hier gerne bewirtschaftet wird! Nächstes Jahr gerne wieder! The Zittelhaus am Sonnblick is fully equipped with everything you need to let your mind wander. We felt very comfortable and were really entertained by Andi! We were all very impressed with the service, the food, the cleanliness and the hospitality. You can tell that the Zittelhaus is gladly managed here! Happy again next year!
A	Andrew Lindley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr großes Schutzhaus, direkt am Gletscher gelegen, welches 3 Monate im Jahr bewirtschaftet ist. Der Ausblick auf den Großglockner sollte etwa 150 Tage im Jahr möglich sein, sonst herrscht hier oftmals der Nebel vor. Haben sogar noch eine Führung der ZAMG Wetterwarte bekommen, war sehr interessant. Die Wirte sind sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend und bieten für die Lage ein umfangreiches Angebot an Speisen (Bier etwa 5€) und Getränken an, aber Achtung für Wasser muss bezahlt werden. Für die Übernachtung sind Hüttenschlafsäcke Pflicht und die Schlafquatiere sind in Zimmer a 8 Personen aufgeteilt. A very large shelter, located directly on the glacier, which is managed 3 months a year. The view of the Großglockner should be possible around 150 days a year, otherwise the fog often prevails here. We even got a tour of the ZAMG weather station, which was very interesting. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and offer an extensive range of food (beer around € 5) and drinks for the location, but be careful for water. Hut sleeping bags are compulsory for overnight stays and the sleeping quarters are divided into rooms for 8 people.
