★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Ambiente ist hervorragend und typisch für einen gepflegten Heurigen. Der Gastgarten ist ebenso einladend. Für ihre Weine sind die Zahels ohnehin bekannt, und dass man bei ihnen vorzüglich essen kann, hat sich herum gesprochen. Absoluter Hammer war letzten Herbst die gebratene Ente.
 The ambience is excellent and typical of a well-kept wine tavern. The guest garden is just as inviting. The Zahels are known for their wines anyway, and word has gotten around that you can eat well at their place. Last fall, the roast duck was an absolute hit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles Ambiente, nette Mitarbeiter und sehr gutes und schön angerichtetes Essen. Ein Glaser'l Wein dazu darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen. Insgesamt ein toller Besuch. Ich werde wieder kommen. Solltet ihr in der Nähe sein, kann ich das nur weiterempfehlen.
Great atmosphere, nice staff and very good and beautifully presented food. Of course, a glass of wine shouldn't be missing either. Overall a great visit. I will come back. If you are in the area, I can only recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Besuch 3.2.22: die äusserst unfreundliche, geheimdienstartige Kontrolle meines Impfpasses beim Eingang, ohne Möglichkeit, wenigstens Hut und Mantel sowie angelaufene Brille abzunehmen, gab schon einen Vorgeschmack auf die dortige Gastfreundschaft. Trotz aktuell gültigem grünen Pass meint das Kontrollorgan beim Eingang auf meinen Einwand, dass man mich wenigstens in Ruhe zum Tisch gehen hätte lassen können: „Sie können ja wieder (nach Hause) gehen“.
Da ich mir Gastfreundschaft anders vorstelle, verließ ich sofort das Lokal und fand um die Ecke freundliche Aufnahme bei einem anderen Heurigen.
Visit February 3, 2022: the extremely unfriendly, secret service-like control of my vaccination card at the entrance, without the possibility of at least removing my hat and coat as well as tarnished glasses, gave a foretaste of the hospitality there. Despite the currently valid green passport, the control body at the entrance says to my objection that they could at least have let me go to the table in peace: "You can go (home) again".
Since I imagine hospitality differently, I immediately left the restaurant and found a friendly welcome at another wine tavern around the corner.
