★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely, cool and beautiful waterfall walk along a small stream with refreshing water. Small fee for entry which is completely reasonable due to maintenance of the path.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Lord of the Rings type of hike. So beautiful but be ready for a workout. It’s a long way to the top and there are a ton of paths and stairs that will get you there. Picnic at the top if you like and then take the short way back down to a nice Radler and some Schnitzel at the restaurant at the bottom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful hike, ideal for hot days. The whole trail up and down is under trees close to a stream of water, small ponds and picturesque waterfalls. Most people should be able to walk up the steps and come down again through a stepless footpath within 90 - 120 minutes. 4 Euros well spent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome! It really is very impressive! We went there with our kids - youngest is 3 years. It was manageable. But: do not underestimate the trails: once you complete Ysperklamm you can decide to continue to droidenweg or to Bärenkopf. We took bärenkopf because it said 1,5 hours. We ended up walking for 2 hours (probably because of the kids) and if one of the locals wouldn't have randomly picked us up and drive us a few kilometers, we would've needed another 2 hours which really is horrible with kids. But: all in all it's one of the most impressive hiking trails through a canyon I've been yet. Really cool and recommended for anyone who likes a little action. The kids had a lot of fun putting their feet in the cold river and we're impressed by the nice surroundings. So, yes: it definitely is recommended for kids (at least the walk through the canyon is).
Once you're in Bärenkopf, it's possible to order a shuttle service to take you back to the starting point at Forellenhof

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Especially in the autumn, when the sun is low and trees are red it is a wonderful walk healing your soul. Combine it the Druidenweg and you will find gorgeous views and places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth a day out for this adventure. I took my camera and tripod and did the complete #32 trail up and back. With stops to hide in a cave to get out of the rain and have lunch like a bear, it took me 6 hours. Wear good sturdy hiking boots and bring water and lunch. Photos are of my cave hideout.
