★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbequemer Aufstieg , und für was ? Ein kleiner Andenkenshop mit einem Türmchen darüber , auf dessen Aufstieg man getrost verzichten kann . Die Aussicht von unten ohne Glas vor den Augen ist noch besser .
Uncomfortable climb, and for what? A small souvenir shop with a turret above, which you can safely do without. The view from below with no glass in front of your eyes is even better.

Spijtig om te zien hoe ver de gletsjer al is teruggedrongen door de klimaat verandering. Toch nog altijd een prachtig uitzicht en in het restaurant kun je een simpele (prijzige) lunch nuttigen met een prachtig uitzicht op de gletsjer.
Hier vanaf kun je met de gletsjer baan afzakken en richting de gletsjer wandelen.
Zeker een stop waard!
Beautiful location at the end of the Grossglockner route.
It's a shame to see how far the glacier has already been pushed back by climate change. Still a beautiful view and in the restaurant you can have a simple (expensive) lunch with a beautiful view of the glacier.
From here you can go down the glacier track and walk towards the glacier.
Certainly worth a stop!

グロースグロックナーをどうしても 走りたくて、この周辺を訪ねたく“ハイリゲンブルート”の街に10日ほど滞在し、周辺をドライブしていました。
道路代が高価とありますが それに充分に見あう風景です。使う日程と延長パスを上手く活用すると 比較的リーズナブルにドライブできます。長期な方はまず その日の天気でコースを選ぶと良いでしょう。
I visited in September 2016.
I really wanted to run Grossglockner, so I stayed in the city of "Heiligenblut" for about 10 days and drove around.
It is said that the road fee is expensive, but it is a landscape that meets it well. If you make good use of the schedule and extension pass, you can drive at a relatively reasonable price. For long-term people, it is best to choose a course based on the weather of the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can get a beautiful view of the Großglockner and the other mountains trough the binoculars. There was also a museum where you could learn about the animals that live here and Swarovski himself. They even have a shop where you can buy souvenirs. It’s really worth visiting and I really recommend it.
