★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The mountain farmers museum z 'Bach is an overall experience. A remarkable collection is housed in the historical rooms from 1795. Over 1,200 exhibits tell stories and stories about the poor life of the Tyrolean mountain farmers.
The tennis and cowshed are used for events. The farmers of the valley serve delicacies from the region. A special attraction is the craft market, which takes place every Thursday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. during the summer months.
A visit to the museum can be ideally combined with a walk on the Franziskusweg. This remarkable sculpture trail by the Wildschönau artist Hubert Flörl connects Niederau and Oberau and leads directly past the museum.
