I was there for the Erste bank open and everything was great. The only thing that i disliked is that i tried calling the Stadhalle "information" number multiple times, chose the english option and i was always put on hold after someone saying "wait" in german. After two 5 minute waits on hold i gave up.

Very accessable via the U-Bahn & Straßenbahn stops nearby, and big enough that you won't be able to miss it! Compared to some other arenas I've been to for concerts, this one was very highly segregated and regulated - you need your ticket to go anywhere else, even just to the ATM. You can't bring your coat into the arena, and you will be channeled through a labyrinth of colour-coded entrances and doors. All in all you feel very much like a prisoner, but it really helps space people out more comfortably. The prices at the bar are not too bad, under €5 for a beer or spritzer, plus €1 returned with your cup. The arena space inside is huge, but the ceiling slopes down obscuring your view of the opposite side, which is quite odd, but presumably this is designed this way for acoustic optimisation. The sound itself was clear, if a little quiet compared to other venues (which I liked, no shouting at your friend right beside you).

Amazing event with good organization. Brilliant light show. Good acoustic. Slightly too high prices for beverages within the hall area.

I saw Roger Waters Us+Them 2018 and it was awesome. The show was really good and I had a lot of fun there. The location itself is not so great. Chaotic and bad organised entrances. When you are finally found the correct entrance and you are in, it's better. In the concert hall itself it is very hot (not a hot day) and the seats are very small and uncomfortable. The tickets were very expensive for such a bad place (right of the stage) but you could see everything because it's very steep. So no problems with large people in front of you. But you have to sit twisted because they face the middle of the room instead of the stage. To there excuse it is a multifunction hall and not only for concerts. Food and drinks are very expensive. 4.50 Euro for an old pretzel and 4 Euro for a half litre of water. And you need it because it's very hot inside. Personal was also not very friendly. I would try to get my own water in. It is near to public transport but the subway is highly overcrowded after the show. So the location itself is not very good, You realize very quick that it is old and didn't aged well.

Unfortunately, inside there is no air. But all the events that take place here are great;)

Due to corona regulations, there is just no way to buy food or drinks once inside. The venue has two restaurants, true, but they are of no use. First, they are not directly connected to the venue: in order to access them, one must "de-register" his ticket, leave the building and, later, queue again to enter the concert hall. Second, even if one goes to all that trouble, one will find that both places refuse to sell water bottles: they just serve drinks to sitting customers. Now my girlfriend and I are slowly dehydrating while we await the beginning of a 2 hours and a half concert. If you ever visit the place and find two mummies lying on the floor, pardon us for not greeting you.

Back to the Stadthalle after 2,5 years, attending "Fireman Sam". The show itself is very interesting and keeps the kids engaged. With a lot of songs and dances, at some stage you can hear the kids screaming louder than the actors! Well done for the show! The Stadthalle is welcoming visitors again under the known regulations, very clean spaces and enough room for all visitors!
