Dementsprechend auch mehr Fahrgäste. Design im Erdgeschoß moderner als am Bahnsteig. Typical S45 station. Usual, old design. Station larger than Hernals, Gersthof, .... A	Andreas Macha on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die S-Bahnstation ist schön, aber kommt man in die U3 Station will man nur schnell weiter denn die wirkt etwas steril.Aussen aber gibt's eine große Anzahl an Geschäften und an Tagen die mir gerade nicht einfallen gibt's Markttage jeglicher Art. The S-Bahn station is nice, but if you get to the U3 station you just want to continue quickly because it looks a bit sterile, but outside there are a large number of shops and on days that I just can't think of there are market days of all kinds.

Ottakring hat kein Meer, ist trotzdem mehr als nur ein Bezirk mit einem besonderen Bahnhof.Gleich nach einigen Schritten eröffnet sich das Herz vom Urottakring. Hier wird die königliche Pracht auch heute noch fühlbar.Toll ist es den Schneeberg sehen zu können, den Hausberg der Wiener. Sehr schöne Perspektiven für Radfahrer gibt es-weil gleich vor der U3 Station Ottakring eine schöne Radstrasse verlauft. Und diese ist auch schön zum flanieren-kerzengerade runter bis zum Gürtel. Dieser Bahnhof in Ottakring (Thaliastr.) ist nicht nur einer der Schönsten, sondern auch die Verbindungen sind ausgezeichnet. Man ist innerhalb kurzer Zeit sowohl in der Innenstadt, als auch in den angrenzenden Bezirken. Nebenbei bemerkt gibt es auch etliche Buslinien und zwei Straßenbahnlinien. MfG Wolfgang Karl Wieser Wien Nachtrag: Die Vorortelinie wurde Anfang Sept.. '87 offiziell eröffnet für den Personenverkehr. Natürlich gab es diese Linie schon Jahrzehnte früher, allerdings nur für den Güterverkehr. In den 30ern war die Situation so, daß auch Personenverkehr und Güterzüge aktuell waren. Im 1. Weltkrieg waren es ausnahmslos Munitionstransporte. Grundsätzlich ist eines zu bemerken: Diese Bahnlinie wurde 1898 erōffnet. Allerdings nur eingleisig. Das wärs. Concerning: Schnellbahn S45 and U3!
