★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To get there you need to hike between 2-3 hours depending on each persons condition. Once there the view is rewarding the effort. It has a 180 degree view. The food is nice, the staff and especially the lady are very friendly. Totally worth visiting. Also you get to see Lamas

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An incredible experience in a breathtaking spot. Was taken terrific care of by a warm and welcoming staff and their German shepherd. The food was exceptional and the view miles and miles of sheer alpine mountains studded with meadows and an eleventh century castle. Cannot recommend highly enough to anyone willing to make the trek up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an unforgetable experience that I highly recommend! I took the train from Salzburg Parsch and then took the shuttle from pfarrwerfen - it only took 1½ hours from Salzburg. The hike from werfenweng was breathtakingly beautiful with dramatic scenery of the surrounding towering mountains. Once I reached the hütte it was very pleasant to get a smile and a cold glass of beer! The food, service and hospitality was exceptional. I am definitely planning on going back!
