We were guests at the Mahdegg Alm very early this morning. Extremely charming service, delicious cuisine and a fabulous view. Thank you for that - we'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Herzliche Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung und bester Kaiserschmarrn weit und breit. Hier gibt es auch noch echte Pongauer Fleischkrapfen, eine regionale Spezialität.
Warm atmosphere, nice service and the best Kaiserschmarrn far and wide. There are also real Pongau meat donuts, a regional specialty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gemütliche Hütte mit leckeren Gerichten. Traumhafte Aussicht. Der Weg dahin ist breit und nicht zu steil (Forstweg). Kommen gerne wieder.
Cozy hut with delicious dishes. Fantastic view. The way there is wide and not too steep (forest path). We'd love to come back.

An idyllic place with very tasty, home-style cuisine. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The Kaiserscharrn in particular is worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wirklich 5 Sterne! Wegen des Kaiserschmarrns. Wir essen oft Kaiserschmarrn; sehr oft ist es eine Enttäuschung. Hier nixht! Wirklich selbst gemacht! Herrlich flaumig! Kosten: EUR 8,90. Gut für zwei als Nachspeise mit Apfelmus und Zwetschenröster. Auch die Landschaft ringsherum ist sehr schön! Die Hütte liegt so dass mannä auch im September noch bis abends (wir waren bis 18:00 Uhr dort) in der warmen Herbstsonne sitzen kann.
Really 5 stars! Because of the Kaiserschmarrn. We often eat Kaiserschmarrn; very often it is a disappointment. Nothing here! Really made by myself! Wonderfully fluffy! Cost: EUR 8.90. Good for two as a dessert with applesauce and stewed plums. The landscape around is also very beautiful! The hut is located so that even in September you can sit in the warm autumn sun until the evening (we were there until 6:00 p.m.).
