I was in the Cocoon annex and I have to say that it's an amazing hotel, there is an entire building especially built for the spa and the pool. There is also a great artificial lake outside wich is beautiful, the garden is very well maintained. For those who like bike the hotel have approximately 30 electrics bike that you can use for free to ride near the lake or to join Pertisau. I recommend it in all criteria.

I have to say that this hotel has great potential. Beautiful garden, splendid spa, also cocoon house is very nice but service is not unfortunately 5 star. We chose our stay in a cocoon house, a beautiful big room with number 131. The rooms in the cocoon house are modern, with a fireplace and we also have a sauna. Basically everything looks like a 5 star hotel, but I have to say that in some cases it is 3 stars. People are not trained for a 5 star service. And you will know it right away when you arrive at the hotel. No smiles from the staff and you miss the feeling that there is nothing problem and that the staff will do anything to meet your expection. My son wanted a pancake for breakfast, and the man in the buffet told him, he did not know when he will get to it. When we complained to the waiter, he went straight to him and and screamed him in front of us and said, he needs to do the pancake not evan for us but also for other guests. Most of the staff do not speak English, no inscriptions in English at the buffet, tourist information without English. The first evening we even got a menu in German, and we get told that the next day it will be fixed. Cocktails have been told that they will not be earlier than 4 pm, because the Bar is close until 4 pm! Service around a pool or pond does not exist. Nobody asks you on the terraces if you want anything to drink or eat. Waiters mostly work to take dishes from you after eating. Bikes are not serviced, even one footman has fallen when i was riding a bike. There is a lack of staff, as the receptionist goes to the bar to make drinks or even goes to repair the bicycle so that the guest can leave with the bike for the trip. The children's toboggan is only open at certain times, which surprised us 11-12, 14-16 and then the last hour from 17-18. We were told that this is because of a lifeguard who must be on the spot all the time. They probably thought the man who was cleaning around the pool and the other three floors of the spa, since no lifeguard was there. Employees are not happy and complain about management themselves, two of them even told us that we should go to another hotel and even give us tips and names of the hotels in the neighborhood where is better hotel service. That many hotel clients complain to them with the same observations. Wifi is very bad. During the day you have no chance in the room. I tried in the garden and on the terrace and there is none. I did not have a problem at the gym. The mini bar in the room is just water, that's all. Food is another thing. We are used to to have higher standard and a much larger selection. Waiters are not trained to serve a 5 star hotel. Perhaps the worst are lunches: one pasta and Italian bread with salami and a salad bar. When something comes out of the buffet, it takes a long time to complete it again, usually you have to tell if it will be added again. There is no bar in the cocoon, so in the evening you have to go over the street to the Alpenrose hotel in the bar to get something. It is a pity because Cocoon have a very nice lounge with a fireplace where you would like to sit down but unfortunately it is completely without service. The Kids Club is open from 9:30 am to 11 pm. Its new and my son felt good there. He was just surprised that there was a television in it. The Kids club is working on a babysitting basis, I did not see doing anything with the kids. I also asked for a program that was very poor. One activity in the morning and then one evening in the evening after 7 pm. We paid 550 € per night and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. I know there are many hotels in this price range, where my family and I will feel welcomed and that the service will match the price. I just want to say that it's sad, because as I wrote, the potential of the hotel is really big, but it always depends on who is doing it and who leads the hotel.

Beautiful place, the staff are friendly too. However, when we arrived to have brunch and there was no food available- meaning the place isn’t very professional. We ended up having tea and croissants. Slightly disappointed.

Amazing apartment, walk-in dressing, spacious wet room and living room. Beautiful view of the Tyrol mountains, nice staff, access to 2 lakes, 3 SPAs, 2 swimming pools, good services and lovely food.

This hotel is incredibly detailed with stunning woodwork inside. The food is amazing and a must try for your stay around the Achensee area. Check out their brunch and cigar lounge. They also have a very friendly kid atmosphere and non stop activities in the gorgeous Alps.

Fantastic hotel. We have been coming here for many years, hospitality is unique, attention is paid to every detail, the whole area is very clean. Fantastic breakfast & dinner, from 12pm to 4pm also lunch / coffee & cake. Absolutely recommended.
