Spent my Birthday eve here and I can't begin to express how amazingly wonderful this place it! It was hands down the best wine pub I've been to in all my trips to Europe! I'm in love with the place

Nice traditional wine garden hidden in the very center of Vienna. The wine and food is good, but not exceptional. If you don't want to take the travel time to the outer districts for a traditional wine experience, this is the place to go.

Hidden nice spot. Good wine, friendly service and a couple smaller snacks. Very hard to find a spot if you don't come early. A bit harder to find with only a small sign on the street.

Two friends and I went for a late evening drink and were quite happy with place until towards the end of our visit. A shame because we had read such great reviews and decided to give it a go. We arrived late and were told that we would have to go inside at 21.45 to finish our drinks because of the neighboring houses and noise levels. As instructed we went inside and continued to finish our wine. We sat near the open windows because we wanted to have fresh air circulating around us during these times of the COVID virus. At some point one of the employees closed the window we were sitting next to. We noticed that there were still folks outside drinking even though we were asked to come inside. It annoyed us at first but we just let it slide. After the stale, warm air became unbearable one of my friends opened the window near our table again. We figured if people were still sitting outside, they couldn‘t be taking the “noise” issue too seriously. A young lady employed at the establishment immediately came to the window and closed it again. An argument ensued. She said that if we were not happy with the situation we could leave. We stated that we were asked to come inside and sit indoors with closed windows because the neighbors did not want to be bothered by noise. Things escalated quite quickly and at the end she threatened to call the police. Insanity!!! We were just attempting to voice our displeasure. First of all this employee was extremely rude to us but most importantly we had a problem with the fact that some individuals were allowed to sit outside while others, doing as asked, were forced to sit inside a room with closed windows on a hot evening. We were not talking loudly at all. It all made no sense to us. We were told: the people sitting outside are part of the staff, then she said that they were customers who had been coming to the place for thirty years, and on and on. The reasoning was just crazy. Either EVERYONE stays outside or NO ONE! I have never had anything happen like this before. What angered me the most was how quickly, aggressively and rudely this young woman and her colleague reacted to us. We were certainly not treated with respect as customers. Although it is really a nice place I will not ever recommend this to anyone ever! They should actually be ashamed of themselves for the way they acted.

Very nice place in the center of Vienna where you can drink wines like you are in the countryside. This place reminds me a lot those places in the countryside where you can sit together with the locals or even the owners and drink their own wines. They have a nice garden for the summer and the wine was good, at a good price and you can have some food. Absolutely suggested for the summer days in the after work hours!

If I didn't know about this place I would have never found it. But if you notice the entrance you'll see what a nice bier garden there is. If you only want to drink, I would recommend coming. But if you are hungry, then go elsewhere. The food is simply terrible there. I would also like it if there was also draught beer and not just bottled. But I suppose people mostly order wine...

Nice and I would say very authentic wine bar. The waitress didn't seem to speak English that well but she managed to understand what we wanted. It seems to be a bar for locals but overall has friendly atmosphere. Wines are nice and prices are very good. I think there is an outdoor bar which might be very cool in the summer. Unfortunately weather was quite cold when we visited it.
