Beautifully situated hut in alpine pastures. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, great snack and pine schnapps afterwards. Our favorite cabin on vacation!

B	Brigitte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles, hausgemachtes Essen, die Brettljause ist sehr zu empfehlen! Es gibt vieles auch glutenfrei, sogar einen Kaiserschmarrn aus Buchweizenmehl, der war hervorragend! Auch der Most und der Apfelsaft schmecken sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit die Hütte liegt sehr schön, das ganze Wandergebiet dort ist wirklich schön, auch super zum mountainbiken. Great, homemade food, the Brettljause is highly recommended! There is a lot also gluten-free, even a Kaiserschmarrn made from buckwheat flour, which was excellent! The must and apple juice also taste very good. The service is very friendly and helpful, the hut is very beautiful, the whole hiking area is really nice, also great for mountain biking.
B	Bernhard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von Feld am See die Mautstraße bis zur Mautstation. Dort das Auto abstellen (den netten Bauern fragen wenn kein Platz frei. Netter Hund Leni bellt ein bissi aber will nur spielen!) den alten-alm-weg rauf oder auf der Forst-Straße rauf ... ca. 2 Stunden (7km + 600m). Almdorf wartet auf euch. Buttermilch und Speck mit Ei sowie Hauswürstel mit Sauerkraut vom feinsten. Bretteljause und Hausbrot auch immer gut. Alternativ mit auto ganz rauf und oben die Runde gehen ca. 3 Stunden. Alternativ von Kichheim rauf mit der Bahn (mit Radl) und die Runde dort beginnen. Dank und lg an die Hüttenwirtin! From Feld am See the toll road to the toll station. Park the car there (ask the nice farmers if there is no space available. Nice dog Leni barks a bit but just wants to play!) Up the alten-alm-weg or on the forest road ... about 2 hours (7km + 600m). Nicht nur, dass die Wurscht, der Schinken, der Käs, die Butter, das Verhackerts, die Leberwurscht und der Frischkäse aus eigener Herstellung sind...es schmeckt auch noch phänomenal gut. Und bezieht man dann noch die liebevoll gestaltete Alm und die traumhafte Umgebung in die Bewertung mit ein...steht man kurz versucht, das bisherige Leben hinter sich zu lassen und einen Neuanfang in den Nockbergen zu wagen. Fast...aber es hat nicht viel gefehlt ? The Vesper plate deserves mention with a few superlatives. Not only that the sausage, ham, cheese, butter, minced meat, liver sausage and cream cheese are made in-house ... it also tastes phenomenally good. And if you then include the lovingly designed alpine pasture and the wonderful surroundings in the evaluation ... you are briefly tempted to leave your previous life behind and dare to start again in the Nockberge Mountains. Almost ... but not much was missing ?

Sehr viele leckere hausgemachte Sachen ( Speck Wurst Aufstriche Käse Butter Schnaps usw) . So eine Brettljause ist der Hammer !!! Wir kommen sicher wieder A very, very nice place in the middle of the mountains! A stop here is always worthwhile! A lot of delicious homemade things (bacon sausage spreads cheese butter schnapps etc.). Such a snack is awesome! We'll be back for sure

Die Hütte lässt sich zwar augenscheinlich auch mit dem Auto erreichen, liegt aber auch an einem schönen, nicht allzu anspruchsvollem Rundweg, der von der Kaiserburgbahn in einigen Stunden zu meistern ist. Die Hütte sorgt für genau das richtige Maß an Erholung und Stärkung. Hausgemachte Schmankerl in bestechend guter Qualität. Wurst, Käse, Brot, Speck, alles aus eigener Erzeugung. Preis/Leistung ist für die Lage und die Qualität der Produkte voll in Ordnung. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind. Great hut with very warm service. The hut can apparently also be reached by car, but is also located on a beautiful, not too demanding circular route that can be mastered in a few hours by the Kaiserburgbahn. The hut provides just the right amount of relaxation and refreshment. Home-made delicacies of impressive quality. Sausage, cheese, bread, bacon, everything from our own production. Price / performance ratio is completely okay for the location and the quality of the products. We'll definitely come back when in the area.
