★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf der Hochkönig-Homepage als vegan-freundlich ausgewiesene Hütte, jedoch fehlen vegane Optionen auf der Speisekarte gänzlich. Ob der Fehler nun bei der Hütte oder beim Tourismusverband liegt, sei dahingestellt. Jedenfalls nicht zufriedenstellend, wenn man nach diesem Kriterium die Hütte aussucht und dann erst recht nichts zu essen bekommt.
 The hut is listed as vegan-friendly on the Hochkönig website, but there are no vegan options on the menu at all. It remains to be seen whether the fault lies with the hut or with the tourism association. In any case, not satisfactory if you choose the hut according to this criterion and then you certainly don't get anything to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Alm, war Mittags einiges los gab aber noch Plätze. Bedienungen sehr nett, sehr schön gelegen mit toller Aussicht.
Schöne Alm, there was a lot going on at lunchtime but there were still places. Service very nice, very nice location with a great view.

Cozy and lovingly designed hut, all dishes are freshly prepared ... a real pleasure and we have grown fond of the hosts! We are always happy to come back!

Auf Vorbestellung gabs für uns köstliche Ripperl:) durch den offenen Kamin kommt eine echte Hüttenatmosphäre zu Stande:) überdurchschnittlich freundliches und aufmerksames Service :) komme bestimmt wieder :)
Today we had a pleasant and, above all, great culinary afternoon at the WastlAlm. We had delicious ribs when we ordered them in advance :) the open fireplace creates a real hut atmosphere :) above-average friendly and attentive service :) I'll definitely be back :)
