Wir haben die Wachteln für die Kinder als Haustiere und nach 1Monat sind die Wachteln von alleine gekommen und sie lassen sich auch streicheln. Very nice family. Different types of quail are also robust. We have the quail for the children as pets and after 1 month the quail came by itself and they can also be petted.

Es ist sehr entspannend unsere Wachteln zu beobachten und als Draufgabe gibt es noch herrlich gesunde Wachteleier. We are super excited about our quails. For us, "forest bathing" is now out, for us there is only "quail bathing". It is very relaxing to watch our quail and on top of that there are wonderfully healthy quail eggs.

Und auch gleich das Futter und den „Badesand“ dazu (weit günstiger als anderswo!), sowie immer ein nettes Gespräch mit den freundlichen Besitzern mit guten Tipps zur Haltung. Unsere Wachteln vom Wachtelhof Zierlinger sind von sonnigem Gemüt, handzahm, lassen sich problemlos aufnehmen und auch streicheln. Die Tiere sind sehr friedlich und (so scheint es) immer gut gelaunt. Sie legen in der warmen Jahreszeit täglich je ein Ei, manchmal sogar zwei. Auch jetzt im Winter findet man im Stall hie und da ein Ei. Die Wachtelhaltung selbst ist einfach und unkompliziert, der Aufwand gering und man hat viel Spaß mit den lieben Tieren! Der Hof ist wunderschön im südlichen Waldviertel gelegen, schon die Anfahrt führt durch schöne Landschaft, Wald und hübsche kleine Orte. Ein feiner, kleiner Ausflug. Interessant auch das andere Geflügel und Getier am Hof. Fragen werden geduldig Beantwortet, vereinbarte Termine (wegen der etwas weiteren Anreise aus Tulln) zuverlässig eingehalten. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch und empfehlen den Wachtelhof Zierlinger wärmstens weiter! Here you can get happy quails from very animal-loving people. Our quails from Wachtelhof Zierlinger have a sunny disposition, are tame, and can be picked up and petted without any problems. The animals are very peaceful and (it seems) always in a good mood. In the warm season they lay one egg each, sometimes even two. Even now in winter you can find an egg here and there in the stable. The quail keeping itself is simple and uncomplicated, the effort is low and you have a lot of fun with the lovely animals! The farm is beautifully located in the southern Waldviertel, the approach leads through beautiful landscape, forest and pretty little towns. A nice little excursion. The other poultry and animals on the farm are also interesting. Questions are answered patiently, agreed appointments (due to the somewhat further journey from Tulln) reliably kept. We are looking forward to our next visit and warmly recommend the Wachtelhof Zierlinger!

Das macht den Umgang natürlich super einfach. Tolle Beratung und man merkt die Liebe zu den Tieren. Nimmt sich sehr viel Zeit für die Kunden. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! 100% satisfied and to be recommended! All quail are hand-tame and like to be petted, touched and lifted. Of course, that makes handling super easy. Great advice and you can tell the love for the animals. Takes a lot of time for customers. We will definitely be back!
