A	Alpen Sepp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Immer wieder ein Genuss in den Loferer Steinbergen zu wandern !! Natürlich gehört die Schmidt Zabierow Hütte ( Sektion Passau ) mit dazu . Eine perfekt geführte Alpenvereinshütte die keine Wünsche offen lässt !!! Von A-Z einfach ein Traum !! Angefangen von den Wirtstleuten über das Personal bis hin zur kulinarischen Verpflegung und Unterkunft ist diese Hütte einfach nur hervorragend und empfehlenswert !!! Gerne wieder !!! Always a pleasure to hike in the Loferer Steinberge!! Of course, the Schmidt Zabierow Hütte (Passau section) is one of them. A perfectly managed alpine club hut that leaves nothing to be desired !!! A dream from A to Z! Starting with the innkeepers and the staff to the culinary catering and accommodation, this hut is simply excellent and recommendable!!! Gladly again !!!

SUPER schöne Hütte mit perfekter Lage für alle Gipfel in den Loferer Steinbergen. Leckeres Essen so dass man aufpassen muß, nicht ein paar Kilo zuzulegen;-). Nette unterteilte Bettenlager. 2. Eindruck....man möchte nicht mehr weg ....vielen Dank für die super netten Tage bei euch !!!! First impression....incredible dear Leit from the boss to the employees. SUPER beautiful hut with a perfect location for all peaks in the Loferer Steinberge. Delicious food so that you have to be careful not to gain a few kilos;-). Nice divided bed camp. 2nd impression...you don't want to leave...many thanks for the super nice days with you!!!!

Great location, super nice hut team, clean and well-kept, wide range of dishes ... we spent a great weekend, it was certainly not the last time!
G	Gerhard Wagenbichler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alles okay. Auch die 3G Regel wurde kontrolliert. Nettes Personal, gutes essen. Tolle Aussicht. Gemischte Platte leider recht teuer für die Portionsgröße. Nicht vergessen, hier kommt man schon in den Alpinen Bereich und sollte sich da auskennen und die Tour planen. Uns kamen nach dem Mittag beim Abstieg immer noch sehr viele Personen, auch mit Kindern, unter welche bei den hohen Temperaturen, wenn überhaupt, dann nur sehr schwer bis zur Hütte kamen. Lieber mit etwas kleineren Touren beginnen und sich dann steigern. Die Tour ist aber auch mit Kindern 5+ machbar. Früh starten, reichlich Wasser mitnehmen und Pausen einlegen. Everything okay. The 3G rule was also checked. Nice staff, good food. Great view. Mixed platter unfortunately quite expensive for the portion size. Don't forget, here you are already in the alpine area and should know your way around and plan the tour. After midday, on the way down, there were still a lot of people, including children, who, given the high temperatures, found it very difficult, if at all, to get to the hut. Better to start with a little smaller tours and then increase. The tour can also be done with children aged 5+. Start early, take plenty of water with you and take breaks.
U	Ursula Steininger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nette, freundliche und schnelle Mitarbeiter. Sie kümmern sich sehr gut um alle Gäste. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Sehr gute Getränkeauswahl. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Die Hütte ist sehr gepflegt und ordentlich. Leider keine Dusche weil die Hütte über keinen Wasseranschluss verfügt aber es gibt Waschräume mit Waschbecken. Reicht völlig aus. Nice, friendly and fast employees. They take very good care of all guests. The food tastes great. Very good selection of drinks. The breakfast is rich. The cottage is very neat and tidy. Unfortunately no shower because the hut has no water connection, but there are washrooms with sinks. That's enough.
D	Don W on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulously positioned amongst the dramatic limestone peaks. Steep 2 and a bit hour ascent from the valley through changing scenery from woodland to natural alpine rock gardens and then finally on to the sharp limestone rock. The Hut is immaculate and has a nice terrace to enjoy Kafe und Kuchen and take in the dramatic amphitheatre of the surrounding peaks. Descent can take almost as long and poles recommended to save the knees!

m	martin K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made a hike from Loferer Hochtal, 6km in total, 1200m vertical meter, very good hike with lot of beautiful spots to have nice view and make some pictures. Hut itself has very good restautant with many dishes in menu, and can be used as basecamp for hikes on surrounding summits.
