★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viper Room is one of the better smaller venues around, mainly for rock, metal and industrial acts or tribute nights.
A huge advantage is the height of its main hall, there is plenty of air to breathe. Most of the gigs i have been to sounded really good, much better than a place with brick walls should.
The staff is friendly and helpful, though the price range is average or a little bit higher than usual.

One of the few really cool live music clubs in Vienna. Its small but in the heart of the city and easily to reach. The dress is casual (but preferably black ?) and its refreshingly free of show-offs and pretenders. Most important you get to listen to new rock, gothic and of course metal beats!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for a Midnight concert and ended up staying until 5 AM. Incredibly cool place for metal gigs, fast service, great sound, proper underground atmosphere, and cool people. A beer is 5 EUR and late at night they open the backstage area, where you can also smoke. I would recommend, absolutely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice club with live music. Unfortunately not many people present. But besides that, very good atmosphere and the club owner is a very polite and nice guy. Recommended is you love rock and metal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sound quality was not that good, hard to make out the words of the main vocalist while base and drums were playing at the same time. Small room and people can smoke in it. But there are tables to sit and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very lucky to play a show here at this very Iconic metal venue in the heart of Vienna. Many cool spaces and the underground bunker vibe is just perfect for any and all alternative music. The staff were professional and friendly as well. It's also close to public transport and amenities.
