Best Train station in austria

C	Christine Wren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found the train station very easy to maneuver through. It was clean and efficient. Our bus transfer to the train station was tight with OBB however there was no clutter to confuse finding our track quickly. It's located on the Italian/Austrian border.
F	Fuou Xu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, clean and safe station with waiting room, fast WiFi and night security guards. I stayed there waiting for my connection to Italy and the guards/staff were very kind and willing to help everybody. If you are interailing or need to wait for a long time for a train this is a station where you will feel safe to get a few hours of sleep without worrying about bad intentioned people. The downsides would be the paid toilets (50 cents) and the lack of some convenience stores and vending machines(at least I didnt saw any). But there is a Macdonald's 5min away by foot and plenty of restaurants/cafes surronding the area.

We arrived from Salzburg with 7 minutes until our next connection, we were scared that we would miss our connection however we didn’t only because of the seem less connection and friendly staff. Very clean and would highly recommend the station to anyone needing to pass through the area.

This as I numerous times used the Hamburg Altona - Villach DB Autozug service. This place was always very well organized and no problems what so ever occured during my many visits.

It primarily serves as a passenger station and is an important junction within the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) network.The station has twelve tracks, four of them sidings, and a motorail terminal. It is linked with both to the Southern Railway line to Vienna and the Tauern Railway line towards Salzburg. Villach is served by Austrian Railjet, InterCity and Regional-Express trains, as well as by the Carinthian S-Bahn rapid transit system. The station also hosts international EuroCity and EuroNight trains leading to destinations like Munich, Ljubljana and Zagreb, or to Venezia Santa Lucia via Tarvisio Boscoverde and Udine.
