Ich habe selbst 3 Kurse hier besucht. Die Trainerinnen waren sehr freundlich und engagiert. Well-kept, clean and clear. The range of different courses is large and varied. The prices are usually reasonable and affordable. I attended 3 courses myself. The trainers were very friendly and committed.

Dies wurde jedoch erst vor Ort in der ersten Stunde klar gestellt. Nachdem wir uns beschwert hatten, haben wir einen Kurs mit gebuchten Niveau bekommen. Es wurden jedoch ohne finanziellen Ausgleich 4 von 12 Unterrichtseinheiten gestrichen. Laut vhs fällt die Förderung weg, da die Teilnehmerzahl zu gering war, was ich jedoch als Problem der vhs ansehe. Wie uns von Lehrern mitgeteilt wurde ist dies häufiger der Fall. Leider kann ich nur abraten, weil die Kommunikation und Organisation miserabel ist, und interne Probleme an Kunden direkt weitergegeben werden. My booked language course was merged with a different (lower) language level because there were too few participants. However, this was only made clear on site in the first hour. After complaining, we got a course with the booked level. However, 4 of 12 teaching units were canceled without financial compensation. According to vhs, the funding is canceled because the number of participants was too small, which I see as a problem for vhs. As we have been told by teachers, this is more often the case. Unfortunately, I can only advise against it because the communication and organization is poor and internal problems are passed on to customers directly.

En la página oficial del gobierno de Viena dice que, con la presentación de la Mobilepass se conseguirá descuento en cualquier VHS, hoy he constatado que con la Mobilepass solo se consiguen problemas, excusas y restos de cursos que nadie quiere, lógico, pagando. Otro engaño del gobierno de Viena, que homologa reglas, pero luego no controla. Very badly. On the official page of the government of Vienna it says that, with the presentation of the Mobilepass you will get a discount on any VHS, today I have verified that with the Mobilepass you only get problems, excuses and remains of courses that nobody wants, logically, paying for. Another deception of the Vienna government, which homologates rules, but then does not control.

L	Leona on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unsatisfied. Course was a total rip-off. Incompetent employees, incompetent teacher and bad structure. I was taking a course for the VELT ( Vienna English Language Test) and there was a moodle group online for the course with all the practice materials. For some reason, I was not added to the group and I mentioned this to the teacher on the next session. I wrote multiple emails, reminded the teacher on every session and called at VHS many times but with 0 success. The people I talked to on the phone either said they can´t help me or that all the employees from the VHS at Johannagasse (who could help me) have already finished work and left. The next days nobody seemed to take any effort in helping me get access to the moodle and in the end I did the VELT exam without ever having had access to the materials. The teacher sent me some materials on fb which in the end turned out to be a small amount of the whole thing. The quality of the course itself was also very bad. When asked to explain an unfamilliar word, the teacher would use a phone app to translate the word to german despite the fact that there were several people on the course who didn´t speak German so well. The course was badly structured and we would just fill out some exercises and then read out the answers with little explanation and a lot of phone app translation. I would recommend to everyone thinking about taking this course to better just keep their 85e and buy a book for practicing themselves. Huge waste of time and money, I learned absolutely nothing and just got frustrated for no good reason. I would be very happy to get an answer /refund from the VHS.
