VAYA Sölden

Very cute comfortable hotel in the Solen. Our room is enough small, but anyway it's new modern and very cozy. Actually all guests here have enough big balcony with panoramic excellent view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Price is affordable and actually very nice for such good hotel. We came during summer time and they offered us activity card which is very useful. It's possible to use for many attractions near like cables cars, museums and actually Aqua Dome therme ( we didn't know before and unfortunately paid there, but with this premium card the hotel gives you it will be for free). I'm not sure if this card is available during winter time. I think only for summer. They serve breakfast, there's panoramic sauna and free parking inside.

The food was excellent and really nicely decorated Not only the food was perfect after a great sporty bike day in Sölden, also the wellness area was really great to recover for the next bike day. I really liked the spaciuos very modern rooms and the huge balcony. The staff is really friendly and always happy to support. We for sure will come back....

Fantastic looking and well appointed place in Solden, (which seems to have several boutique hotels), but sometimes the service is a little disorganised. We had a senior suite comprising of 2 double bedrooms one with ensuite bath and dressing, a bathroom, a wc room and a lounge containing a sofa bed. This was great for our small family of 2 adults and a youth. The bedrooms had access to a surrounding balcony with views. Rooms were stylishly decorated and furnished. Wifi bandwidth is pretty good too. The led TVs in each room do not have streaming service and cannot be streamed to but do have a small selection of channels from UK, France, Germany and Italy, plus local channels. WiFi login prevents the use of amazon Fire or Googlecast. Bathrooms were underfloor heated and had towel rails, great for drying our snowboarding gear. The boot room was also very well appointed with more than enough racks and drying facilities. The wellness area had 3 saunas, an aromatherapy area and showers (also the place to get nice teas). The hotel location is fantastic for accessing the free bus just 50m from the hotel, within 2-3 stops you're at one of 2 main gondolas. Buses are every 10 mins (mostly). If you eat out there's a selection of restaurants for varying budgets within 50 to 150m of the hotel. Theres a small grocery store 100m towards Giggijoch and a Spar 200m in the other direction. The hotel restaurant does nice salads, burgers and meaty dishes, vegetarian options are limited but on par with most of Austria :). Breakfast is lovely continental style plus hot food and not to be missed. What could improve is the hotel service. Staff in the hotel and restaurant all seem great at their roles individually, but maybe there is not a great team between restaurant and hotel? For example when we arrived at about 7pm there was no one at the front desk, but lots of bar staff and restaurant staff who we let know that we needed to check in, but no one helped or found the person for reception. After 20 minutes we gave up asking for help and rang the hotel to see if that would get attention. Still no response, eventually someone turned up. That said everyone we met was a lovely character, any request was met with a friendly response and we had a great stay. The best place for Off Piste guiding we found was Snowlines Ski school - Stepan is hugely knowledgeable, well respected, safe and very reliable (highly recommended)

Very good food! All dishes we have tried had an interesting twist. The quality is great and in balance for the price. Service was Great! although many reviews sound differently. Highly recommend this place for a nice dinner in Sölden!

We had a really lovely dinner there! The restaurant is not at the forefront of the main street, so it was the only one with room for a group without reservation. The food and scenery was great!
