★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely mountain cottage serving as a restaurant, we had kaiserschmaren and it was delicious, served with plums here instead of apples. The tables are placed in small rooms connected one to another, the interior is cosy and traditional, with wooden furniture and a fireplace. We highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LOVED coming here. Such an authentic experience. We took a horse-drawn carriage ride up to Unterhof Alm and then had a late lunch/early dinner. It was such a romantic, authentic, rustic and cozy experience. I loved coming inside to a wood-burning fireplace and delicious hot soup and warm meals. The Kaiserschmarrn was excellent and according to my mom the blood sausage was very good as well. We also really enjoyed the kasnocken and my husband said the schnitzel was one of the best that he had while we were in Austria.
Sitting outside also looked super enticing with an amazing panoramic view of the mountains. We were just kind of chilly after the horse carriage ride and wanted to warm up. I'd imagine this would make for a wonderful stop on a hike in the summer time as well.
