Er wurde zeitweilig als Magazin- und Lagerraum genutzt und mehrfach restauriert. Unter dem Kapellenraum im Inneren befindet sich das Ossarium. Die Malerei zeigt Jesus als Weltherrscher, Erzengel Michael als Drachentöter und Heiligenfiguren in mittelalterlicher Darstellung. Besichtigung: Mai - September von 8.00 Uhr - 18.30 Uhr. Zu allen anderen Zeiten gegen Voranmeldung im Pfarramt St. Stephan. The important late Roman Karner is located just southeast of the parish church of St. Stephan in the former cemetery of Tulln. It was temporarily used as a magazine and storage room and has been restored several times. The ossuary is located below the chapel room. The painting shows Jesus as world ruler, Archangel Michael as dragon slayer and figures of saints in a medieval representation.
