★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could not wish for a better location for Skiwelt. Two different cable cars are literally outside the Hotel entrance. Rooms are not that tiny as some reviews here state - enough for a couple to fit all things. Every room has a balcony. You can also use for free the outside heated pool from 8 - 21.30 and same goes for a sauna, that has a breathtaking view over mountains. There is also a free parking underground the hotel with plenty of free parking places. If you are looking for a stay for skiwelt, head to Tirol Lodge and you will not be disappointed. The Hotel pricing should actually be way much expensive than it is, considering how convinient it is with all ameneties. Breakfast is served in the lobby (limited options) and buffee for 16.99 in a separate building, which is 2 minute walk from any building. Kudos to the receptionist, who stayed late over time to register us on a late arrival!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is just perfect - 50m from reception to the base gondola station in Ellmau. Lift passes available from reception .Last ski run of the day will bring you right to the door of the hotel. Rooms are not huge but adequate - comfy beds and good shower with daily nespresso capsules and fresh linen and towels. Outdoor heated pool, adjoining wellness area and 2nd floor sauna are very well kept and spacious with great views - perfect for recovery after a long ski day. Very comfortable and warm atmosphere in the bar each evening - fantastic live music a couple of nights from 8. No traditional ‘apres’ atmosphere in the hotel but the bar across the road has much of that if it’s what your looking for. The menu is pretty limited but what they have is well done. More comprehensive menu available through the hotels next door tirol grill - both for breakfast and dinners. Take away breakfast for gondola munch each morning from hotel bar is also well done. Staff are just fantastic! Very helpful, professional and friendly. Will definitely return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel, right by the cable car. Friendly, attentive staff. Rooms aren't huge, but perfectly adequate for a ski break. Plenty of storage, clean, and warm. Nespresso machine but no kettle, so we took a travel kettle. Pool area is spotlessly clean, as is the hotel and bar area.
Key access required through most doors, which adds security.
Would recommend a stay here. We had a room at the back which was nice and quiet.
Bar area is good, has some live music some evenings, restaurant great for breakfast and good for an evening meal.
