★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember when they first opened up. I and friends were able to walk around a see lots of different type of animals. Now only by appointment are u able to chat with the personnel which animal u wish to see. I was alittle disappointed in their coldness because I wanted to see several dogs and was not allowed. One dog at a time they said. They told me, it would be very stressful for the dogs to see all at once. When I came home I called many other animal shelters and got received a different answere. Please come I may see as many dogs as I want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unprofessional and total lack of customer service. The listings posted on the website are not updated and up to date. We had chosen a dog which was listed on their website, and took time off work to view at the appointed time. Upon arrival, we were informed this dog was actually already taken, and there was total disinterest while communicating with us failing to realise they waste people's time as a result of not displaying correct information on their website. The result: destroying the mood of my children for this day, as the whole family looked forward adopting this cute dog. I will not recommend this experience to anyone. They are sheltering animals looking for home, they should put more soul and effort into their work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I never knew that any animal shelter would reject someone applying for voluntary work . As mentioned in your website, you need people for walking the dog or cleaning them but in the reality you just need someone with expert training and German language skills since your dogs only understand perfect German language.
I would like to know how many expert in training are willing to work for free since it’s their profession!!!!
And yes my German is not so perfect but I assure you that I could have communicate with your staff and dogs in German!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everyone was extremely friendly in helping my husband and I getting our new fur baby. They seemed extremely caring towards all animal. Even though I don't speak English they made an effort to speak English with me which I honestly appreciate. Making appointments was easy and everything went well. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Humane treatment of animals, very nice walking grounds. The dog owner course lasted for four hours, and if you are planing to adopt a dog in Austria, I would strongly recommend attending it. The regulations are not the same like in other countries, so you really need to understand your's and the dog's rights. No test, but you get a certificate which makes your dog owner tax cheaper.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great place, very professional and friendly staff. The animals are being taken care of very well at this place and wait for a new family to go to. It's the right choice to go there, you feel very welcome and have a good feeling after you chose your new friend giving home a new home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over a year ago my mother adopted a dog here. Leonardo - now my little brother. I accompanied her throughout the adoption process, which was not easy, but very clear and professional. The staff are knowledgeable, understanding and helpful. We are very satisfied and fully support the principles of TierQuarTier activity. We will definitely be back for more family members. ❤ Below are photos of our little dog with a huge heart. Thank you. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good thing the animals here are well taken care of-- the employees sabotage many adoption efforts.
Good: I took the Sachkundekurs here. Very well run. Dogs are obviously cared for. Nice set up.
Bad: I recently had to say goodbye to a very beloved pet. Finally I got to the point of "ok, I have tons of pet stuff sitting around. Its time to either donate it, or... maybe see if my heart is ready to adopt". I sent an email stating exactly that: I would like to drop off a donation, and perhaps see an animal.
Within 30 minutes I got a flat out rejection. Just "we will not adopt this animal out to you." Without knowing any other information, no further questions, nothing. (And despite me saying that I wasn't rushing into a decision, either way.)
Unfortunately, I have plenty of acquaintances with similar experiences. It seems to totally depend on the mood of the employee you come across, which is pretty sad for the animals waiting for homes. Look, I get it: the employees probably see the worst (and stupidest) of humanity on a daily basis. I'm sure they love the animals. But successful animal rescue depends on the belief that there are good humans, with good hearts, who are able to give good homes to these animals. Those humans deserve a chance, too.
The experience honestly made me cancel my patenschaft with them. They made it pretty clear that they didn't need the donation.
