I can't even remember exactely how many times I have been to the Akzent - what I can remember however, is - I always had a good time!
It might not be as grand as other theaters in this classical city, but make no mistake, the Akzent more than makes up for it with their charm.
You can't help but feel delighted at the effort everybody puts in.
From entering and being taken care of at the coat check, to the ushers who not only show you to your seats, but also pass along knowledge about the upcoming performance, to the tech crew, who really help the show look, feel and sound great - all the way up to the amazing performances on stage.
I shall not forget the helpful people at the box office, be it in person or over the phone!
The program is quite diverse, lots of comedy, good music and also quite an emphasis on shows for kids and teens.
If you look to stray a bit from the beaten path of the big houses, you will be rewarded by a welcoming atmosphere and experience in this lovely house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice theatre located in the middle of Vienna. The premises are clean and well maintained.
The staff is very nice and the seats are generally very comfy as well. It is a very nice traditional looking building. The programme it offers has got a lot of different plays which keeps it very entertaining and there is always something new to discover.
You should use public transport to get there, as parking is very challenging around the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Theater itself is very nice. We went on an austropop singer Stefanie Werger performance. She was singing and talking about her life. There were also 2 other guys - playing guitar and a piano. It was a great show ?
