★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bushaltestelle im Ort Plankenstein. Hier hält die Linie 679 mit Verbindungen nach Scheibbs und Ober-Grafendorf beziehungsweise Sankt Pölten. Die Haltestelle für Fahrgäste nach Scheibbs ist gut gestaltet, es ist ein Wartehäuschen vorhanden. Der gegenüberliegende Haltepunkt ist jedoch nicht gelungen, außer dem Fahrplanaushang gibt es nichts, besonders bei längeren Wartezeiten oder Schlechtwetter ist dies unangenehm. Man kommt von der Station schnell zu allen Orten im Dorf, es gibt jedoch keine Verbindung zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten wie der Burg. Falls man diese besuchen möchte, muss man von hier aus ungefähr 30 Minuten bergauf gehen. Diese Station könnte man von der Austattung her definitv verbessern und außerdem wäre eine Busanbindung der Burg sowie der anderen auf dem Berg gelegenen Orten wünschenswert.
 Bus stop in Plankenstein. Line 679 stops here with connections to Scheibbs and Ober-Grafendorf or Sankt Pölten. The bus stop for passengers to Scheibbs is well designed, there is a bus shelter. The opposite stop, however, was not successful, apart from the timetable, there is nothing, especially with long waiting times or bad weather, this is uncomfortable. You can get to all places in the village quickly from the station, but there is no connection to sights such as the castle. If you want to visit it, you have to walk uphill for about 30 minutes from here. This station could definitely be improved in terms of equipment and a bus connection to the castle and the other places on the mountain would be desirable.
