 The staff is very friendly, the food is great and the beds are very comfortable. The castle tour is very instructive! Come back for sure :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren jetzt zweimal auf der Burg mit unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen. Das Personal war immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Beim ersten Mal war das Zimmer Top. Beim zweiten das Bett leider sehr hart. Das Burg Feeling kommt jedenfalls gut rüber. Außerhalb der Saison wird die Umgebung der Burg jedoch zu wenig gepflegt, die Baustelle war deutlich sichtbar.
We have been to the castle twice now with different experiences. The staff was always very nice and helpful. The room was great the first time. The second bed unfortunately very hard. In any case, the castle feeling comes across well. However, outside of the season, the area around the castle is not maintained enough, the construction site was clearly visible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is really beatiful. The owner has gone quite some lengths to get this place back up running. Too bad the food I ordered there was quite bad. The soup was sour and my schnitzel took forever. Will update the rating when I revisit the place to checkout the restaurant again

Huge queues for food outside the castle.
Waiters inside the castle trying to do their best.
Poorly organized service at all.
Extremely boring for kids.

Interesting artsy touches...
Mobile data... Good luck ... If you want some tec-detox, creaking floors, romantic dinner and tight windy staircases.... Unbeatable unique experience!
Shower was great, amenities up to date! Not "roughing it"
