★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im Tal der Großen Gusen, zwischen Reichenau und Gallneukirchen und etwas abseits der Gusentalstraße gelegen, befindet sich die steil aufragende Granitformation des Teufelssteins.
Bei diesem Felsengebilde handelt es sich um eine prähistorische keltische Kultstätte. Nachdem jedoch im 800 Jahrhundert Urreligionen verboten wurden, wurde mit diesem Verbot gleichzeitig dieses Naturheiligtum verteufelt und somit zum Teufelsstein.
In the valley of the Große Gusen, between Reichenau and Gallneukirchen and a little off the Gusentalstraße, there is the steep granite formation of the Teufelsstein.
This rock formation is a prehistoric Celtic place of worship. However, after the original religions were banned in the 800th century, this ban also demonized this natural sanctuary and turned it into a devil's stone.
