Škoda, takhle to vypadá z venčí hezky We were there to see 11.8.2018, but it was unfortunately closed there. Nowhere has it been written whether or when it is accessible. It's a pity, this is how it looks nice from the outside
E	Eva Vogl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schönes Schloss mit imposanten, alten Burgteil. Zu beachten ist, dass die Anlage nicht öffentlich zugänglich ist. Aber einen Spaziergang ist sie allemal wert! Beautiful castle with an imposing, old castle part. It should be noted that the facility is not open to the public. But it is definitely worth a walk!

Wildberg se nachází v oblasti obce Kirchschlag poblíž Lince v Mühlviertel v Horním Rakousku . Wildberg je nejstarší hradní komplex v Mühlviertelu a od vrcholného středověku je ve vlastnictví rodiny Starhembergů . V červenci 1394 byl hrad dočasným vězením pro českého krále Václava. Král byl 8. května 1394 zajat v Králově Dvoře u Berouna a byl odvezen do Horních Rakous na starhemberský hrad Wildberg, v průběhu cesty pobyl taky na rožmberských hradech Příběnice, Český Krumlov a Vítkův kámen. Václava vysvobodil až jeho bratr Jan Zhořelecký. A beautiful and well-preserved castle which, however, is usually not open to the public. According to the official website, part of the castle is available for private celebrations. Wildberg is located in the village of Kirchschlag near Linz in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria. Wildberg is the oldest castle complex in the Mühlviertel and has been owned by the Starhemberg family since the High Middle Ages. In July 1394, the castle was a temporary prison for the Czech King Wenceslas. The king was captured on May 8, 1394 in Králové Dvůr near Beroun and was taken to Upper Austria to the Oldberg castle Wildberg, during the journey he also stayed at the Rosenberg castles Příběnice, Český Krumlov and Vítkův kámen. Wenceslas was liberated only by his brother Jan Zhořelecký.
